Suppose you stumbled on some interesting fact that you thought was worth making a topic about, or something you'd like to discuss online. The problem is, you're active on three or more forums at once. Where to put it?

Some places like or dislike certain topics - for instance, religion - but if it's nothing like that, you have three options:

• Post on one forum only
• Post in one place and copy/post on all others too
• Post on all forums you're on, but rephrase you post on each

The second is the easiest option for getting the maximum of responses, but I've been wondering: isn't it slightly spamming to go and simply paste your post around several places?

So, do you think it's acceptable to copy the same post into several fourms? And if you want to reply to such a post, to just copy/paste your answers?

To fit in with the topic, I'll post this question on several forums and see what happens.

Of course it's fine. Of course, when I do something like this, I rephrase it slightly because of the people I know on each forum.

It's not spamming. Doing the same thing at different places is only rarely spamming. You can copy/paste your post to as many forums as you want without having a heavy soul.

For example take me (duh). I usually copy/paste things from/to PZC to/from AGN.

Currently these are the only two English language forums I visit regularly, and the ONLY Zelda forums.
