To anyone not completely convinced that Net Authority is a parody:

1. Do a whois on netauthority.org. Look at the email address of the registrant.
2. Try googling that email address. The top result should be this site.
3. Poke around a little. In particular the comics under the comics section of the site are (A) kind of cool, and (B) nothing a christian whackjob would ever pen. But just in case that isn't enough for you...
4. Click the "Net Authority Violator" image, which brings you to this page.
5. PWNED.

It's a good thing it's fake, because as much as I hate the fact that a lot of it exists, people have the freedom to rightfully put any sort of crap they want on the internet.

But Beefster has a point: In a sane world we'd all laugh at someone really being this extreme, but the problem is that we're all worried a real-life organisation could really exist like that. It's always the empty vessels that make the most sound.
