Okay, I selected the Link tiles I want to use and they look fine in zquest... but when I PLAY the quest, Link turns into a random pile of tiles. I'm using the newest beta (I've tried some others too, still the same problem) expanded Link tiles... I could get some screens if no one understands the problem correctly...

i know what you mean(kinda) and it could be your quests that corrupted. Well check links spirits to see if there in order and if there in the right spot on your quest spirit page.

Umm what? As I said, they look totally fine in Quest/Graphics/Sprites/Link, but when I start the game, they are all messed up...

Check the "bs zelda animation" rule. I don't think the expanded Link tiles work without it.

Still didn't work... Maybe it's just a bug with the newest ZC...

Show us the shots. icon_razz.gif

Unless the enemy editor can make expanded enemies, as well, big Link isn't a good idea in a quest...

But if you plan keeping him, ...

what version of ZC are you using?

I'm using build 584...
Link is'nt really that big, but he uses a bit more than one tile... So he won't tower over anything... I'll whip up some screens.

DO NOT:
1Care about the screen design... only a test.
2Bother me with saying that I can't use that Link...

Then it's probably a 584 bug. The other builds haven't given me trouble.

I may know your problem. Link Tile Modifications. Go to your Init. Data, and remove EVERY item. Now see if it works. If it does, then the problem may have something to do with your Link Tile Mods, which changes the Link tiles that are used when you pick up an item, like a shield.

That looks like you're testing with Classic...

What tileset are you intending to use, and how many tilesets have you tried using?

I've tried with many different... here's the list: Not Working: My tileset (not Lufia), the deafault classic set and one more I can't remember.
Working Sets: DoR, PTUX, Orgins (NOT Orgin by DarkFlameWolf) and more. I think there may be a rule that's not(or are) checked, which messes up the tiles... I've tried the most obvious ones...
