By "falling from the ceiling" I thought you meant like a boulder.

I have no idea what the answer to either of those questions is.
I would assume that Sharon used a timed direct warp and ffc's/combo cycling to accomplish it, though.

In the enemy flags list (or possibly the screen flags) there's an "enemies drop from ceiling" checkbox.

It's under enemy pattern, you know, where you set it so enemies will enter from the sides?

He means the Fire Octorok's special flag
