Link's dungeon walk

Ok, here is my problem.

When you walk into a dungeon, link walks up a little, right? Well, link will walk back towards the door when i enter a dungeon most of the time. Any thoughts?


If it is important:

using 2.10.2

i can post screen shots if necessary.

Make sure the continue/warp marker touches the bottom edge. Anything higher will make Link walk down instead of up.

Set the Green Square (Link) to the bottom edge.

Set it to the bottom edge of the SCREEN, not the bottom edge of the room, both the continue (green marker) and warp (blue marker).

i tried that but all that happened was now you cant even see him when he walks out of the room. icon_cry.gif

did i possibly miss something? icon_eyebrow.gif

What do you mean by walk out of the room? Like the screen doesn't change, or your sidewarp isn't working when you exit the dungeon? A screenshot would help.

See, i have the warps set at the bottom, and then he just appears under the door there (bottom, obviously.)
and then he just walks back out. icon_unsettled.gif



I must apologize if i am doing something completely stupid, and wasting all of your time. icon_mad.gif



EDIT: This is abrupt, but i got it to work icon_dead.gif


But now i run into a new problem, link appears ABOVE the door now icon_sorry.gif

Oh, by the way, if you're going to say it's the DMap level number, you're wrong. I already have it set to level 1.

looks like they're not overhead combos. or if they are, maybe you placed said combos on layers 1 or 2. use layers 3 and up for anything above Link.

for doors don't use layer 3 use the "overhead" combo and put it on layer 0 (i pressume you know how to change combo types)

I just thought I'd say this: Link appears on the Green Square. When entering a dungeon, he walks one tile towards wherever the Blue Square is.

At least, I think it works like that...

In other words, green square at the bottom of the screen, blue square above it. That's what worked for me when I had this problem.
