I don't trust reviews at all. I see what friends who have played it think. Besides, chances are, people who review video games/movies give good games/movies bad reviews and vice versa. Though video game reviews seem to be more accurate than movie reviews.

I'm one of those try-before-you-buy guys. Movies is one thing. You pay to watch it, but you don't own it. If you don't like it, don't buy it when it comes out on Video/DVD. Same goes for renting video games. Rent it, play it, buy it if you like it. (though some people actually finish it during the rental period )

I did, I thought the game-play looked good. But what I saw was a multi-player battle. Single player is lame, no 'real' fights. Most of the fights you have to be a character using a certain move. Or you have to beat them when you have half of your life. Or the worse missions protect somone while battling random enemies.
