Story: Incompleat (well it is compleat but i need to type it out on a proper keyboard (non laptop)

Billy: you play as him basicly all detileas about him will be told in the quest

NCPs:
Chaos: chaos has the power of change the wrold from light to twilight when you battle him in the frist DGN and win he joins you and is able to turn light int twilight but not the other way you need somthing else for that.
Joe: No story yet

Ah, I finally found this thread! So...

It's astounding how much you improved... I played one of your HvT demos (I think it was at the same Expo where my quest first hit the stage.). And this is 1000% better. The way you lay down the main screen objects is very good and you fill the remaining area very nicely. And you have me as an important NPC. So great.

Yeah i know but i limted the layers (aka 1 layer per screen at most 2 in HVT)

Now i'm using what i need and i moved around the combo table so i could find and use all the ground detiles as it was before all over the place.

Yeah also CC the thread deleted the itself before i could post it (i hate a laptop keyboard) so thats why you didn't find it

Billy - one layer per screen? Why? The best pure screens can take anywhere between 2 and 4 layers, more if you're really going overboard... just use as many layers as you need.

Well i've re done the start so it's much better and lost my custom pallet

But other than that i've got everything ready for making other than the music
(scorry but the frist few screens are kinda bland but it would have been too weird with what was going on)

And Billy, make sure you bug test very carefully. HvT, although a good quest, is very buggy. You won't want to make that mistake twice.

Howcomes you limit yourself to one layer per screen?

I'm trying to limit my layers at the moment cause they're getting a little out of hand, and so I've got two on most screens, plus one transparent layer for water on some, and the same wind overlay on layer 6 on every screen.

At least two or three would probably be good, surely?

I am doing three layers per screen for my Hyrule Field area of my quest (one for tree tops, one for transparent water, and one misc. layer). Limiting yourself to one layer really limits what you can do with your screens.
