This is mostly just a reminder, but since I haven't touched it in awhile, I figure you deserve it. ZQDX hasn't seen any new construction in about a year now, but is slated for release on 2.5. We'll see what new builds and betas bring for me to work with, and you'll see Zelda 1 like you've never seen it before.

Sorry DFW. This is more than reconstructing first quest in a strange package. The world has been expanded, There's a town, several more dungeons... it's more of a modern Zelda.

I enjoyed the first Zero Quest... so this better be at least twice as good as that was.

well, mine had two extra dungeons and also a town. So not sure where you're going there. But I'll still look forward to it. Screenies?

I believe that he means only the basic layouts of the overworld will remain intact. Perhaps that lake in the middle will be huge, a whole BS-Overworld? That island in the middle of that with Level 1 will host a Zora Village?

The possibilities are endless, and I'm looking forward. Screenshots, please?

Actually it's the other lake and it has a fairy cave. Level four and level one are connected to each other, and there's about four large areas off of the main map.

Well im glad to hear that it's still in progress

So your making it in 2.5, will that mean there will be slightly enhanced graphics in the ZQ Tileset you'll be using?

don't get me wrong, I like yours, and the graphics are totally different from mine (I'm straying away from this enhanced 8 bit look, but keeping a lot of it still.) I'll show you what I mean with a couple screens.

Dude, nice! One thing...you should probably make a rotated version of the stairs in the second shot so they don't look like they're going the wrong way.

...Am I the only one who doesn't know how to make a completely custom subscreen?
