And you can use zconsole to pass through some walls and access other parts of the dungeon in spite of the glitch. I messed with it for awhile but it got tiresome and it was screwing up my game, so I stopped.
The stairs might work if you play on the right version. I don't know and I don't want to play through the entire game again, even though it's an excellent quest.

you are really my master, you'll feel a deep disappointment when going to the room
on level 10 where you can't continue !!!
the golden arrow is in a cave and you must enter by the water
if you want me to put a map with the location, I'll do it!
also I can put another picture with the gold ring location
I've send an email to the author of this quest, but didn't answer
I can try to fix it, if he give me the password!

Got it. Got the Gold Ring. But I forget the maze path to get to the town, and I forget where to find it. Any idea where to find it or the path itself (in white letters) would work.

if you go to the right,, then you're going to the gold ring location
but if you go straight up, then you're entering the path to the maze which lead to town
once you enter the maze, go up -right - up - and left
,,
see the map >>>>> HERE

The author's probably moved on from ZC, like so many others.

I moved on and played Crossrealm Chaos. I finished that last night and now I'm deciding what to play next. I played a few minutes of Link's Retirement 3 but it isn't doing much for me. I'm one of these people where if a quest doesn't grab me in the first hour or so of playing, I move on. Probably unfair, but that's typically the way I do it. Also, for whatever reason, I love quests that use the classic graphics but incorporate new ZC features.

ferentzrocks!!,, let me know when you get any quest, since we both have the same taste!!
is Fantastic! this is the way I like when playing any quest!
I've played molka, and was forced to cheat, because the author was making that impossible to beat
is ok to put harder foes as you make progress , but no in a crazy way,,!, things must go, just normal

If I encounter a quest I like I'll let you know. Right now I'm playing one of Mr. Z's old quests, Doublevision I think. Just finished Level 3 and it seems decent so far, but not as good as Link's Birthday, which is the first custom quest I ever played so I will probably always put it on a pedestal.

that remind me I have unfinished business on one of those James Quest!!!
I think is the first one, its was so hard at the second castle (forest) then I left things for later
or better time ------- since I'm doing nothing now,, I may give the try,,, see ya
