Would it be at all possible to make a ghosted enemy of the ice enemy Mini-Freezard, they slide toward link and when you strike them they slide around and bounce off of walls and after a certain amount of hits you see them start chipping away and eventually they break. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to take up this task. I would also make a great addition to the amount of ghosted enemies that we already have on these forums.

Thanks for pointing that out. I updated the link to the page showing the enemy. Now all I need is a scripter. icon_razz.gif

I've never played that game but I imagine the hard part would be making the enemy move at an appropriate angle after Link strikes it. I'd like a bit more of a detailed description of how it moves, attacks, etc. Maybe a video of it in action?

I imagine the best way to translate that into ZC would be to have the enemies move diagonally and bounce off of unwalkable combos at a "V"-shaped angle. I'm not sure how hard this would be to script.

I've seen scripted bubble enemies that bounce of the walls in a similar pattern,
maybe they could be modified to accelerate when you strike them, or something.

I have an idea for making it work, but I'm wondering about their sliding behavior. Is the sliding in the enemy, or in the icy floor? And if it's the floor, then the enemy script would need to be able to respond to the floor's properties. What would the enemy do if the floor were not icy? Would it slide?

I have an idea for making this work. I'll see what I can do when I have a day off from work.

I'm not sure whether Mini-Freezards even appeared anywhere without ice on the floor. Does anyone remember?

Nope, they didn't. Neither in Twilight Princess or Spirit Tracks.

I haven't forgot about this. I've made a script that lets the enemy sort of home in on Link and sort of slide past him (and bounce away at a correct angle if hit), but it doesn't bounce off walls or chip away or anything yet. So it's still sort of in progress.
