Well, basically, I want to make natural looking borders for my quest. But I also want the player to be able to cross them later in the game. I have the Pure Tileset, and I've already used the pound stubs, and I know about the raft. Any ideas?

Help will be appreciated, Mr. Triforce

I have an idea.

This might not be what your looking for, but what if you used a bush-type tile, so that you could slice it later.

That would work, but I don't know if you would be giving the sword at the begining of the game.

Just an Idea, that would work for some stuff icon_razz.gif

the step ladder is usefull to, you can cross water with it (only one tile),if you want to set it on a screen go to data click on screen data and click on use ladder. :thumbsup:the flippers can you use to swim in water,oh and you have the hook shot, you can get from one piont to the other, one thing if you want that a tile is hookshotteble ( i don't how to say it ) click on the tile with right and your in the tile editor scroll trough type balk click on hookshot grab thats all icon_biggrin.gif

You could use Triggers, and have Trigger combos, so you beat a boss, the trigger activates somewhere across the land, and changes the combos to nothing.

Personally, I don't think he's gonna know how to use boss flags. I have trouble with them myself.

Use the Sword Beam or just Sword Attack flags, so you can get the wooden sword and then get a better sword later on, and slash through the barrier with the sword.

Uhg... I can't use the boss/ trigger combos either... I've never tried...

You could also use the whistle... Except in 2.10. The whistle does not work in 2.10.

Looks through flags and see what you can find. All types of things can used for natural borders.

Well, you can use the natural borders with almost all of the items. There are flags of most of the items (candle, sword, boomerang, Hammer, hookshot, etc.) and you can use them all. Anyways, my personal favorite is the hookshot to cross places. icon_razz.gif

The whistle doesn't work? I use it all of the time in 2.10, as it is a main part of my games.
