Two help topics in one day? So, I'm trying to get the Rice video plug-in for Project 64 up and running, I've installed the plug-in, but PJ64 fails to load it, along with "MSCPVR71.dll". I went ahead and gabbed the missing .dll from a site, but I don't know where to put it, or if that is even what you do. ... annnd, after taking these screens, it looks like I grabbed th wrong one anyway so it's probably some malware >.>

The error messages look like this, and appear in this order when I go into the "Options -> Settings" tab of PJ64, and the Rice Video Plug-in does not show up in the drop down menu.

This stuff makes me feel pretty dumb, cause I try to follow these videos of instructions on Youtube for getting stuff working, then all this unexpected shit happens icon_neutral.gif

Any help would be greatly appreciated icon_smile.gif Thanks.

Oh, and I suppose it's worth mentioning that both "RiceVideo6.1.3DX9.dll" and "RiceVideo.dll" are infact, both in the plugin folder where it claims they are not. My theory is that the MSCFJHGHF&%&$Derpyderp.dll is what is really causing these errors.

EDIT: Oh, and I've re-installed PJ64 several times in different directories, and it happens every time.

Gotta hate those missing .DLL's. Oh well this might be able to help.

Download http://www.dll-files....zip?0WHgW0XIdT

Extract msvcp71.dll from msvcp71.zip. We recommend that you extract msvcp71.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting msvcp71.dll.

If that doesn't work, you will have to extract msvcp71.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7)
If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place msvcp71.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
Reboot your computer.

If the problem still occurs, try the following:
Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".

Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
Type regsvr32 msvcp71.dll and press Enter.

Yes, thanks, I got it working, and it made all the errors go away, AND the plug-ins show up icon_smile.gif. But, it was actually MSVCR71.dll, not MSVCP71 lol. Welp, I got them both now anyway. I actually remember having to do this way back when I put this on my laptop too.

EDIT:

Looking pretty spiffy in full HD.

Spoiler

Now I can get some shaders.

The Hylian Shield that early in the game? YOU HACKER! So I'm guessing this is a texturepack hack?

^ Yes it's a texture hack. And I also happen to have all the spiritual stones, and medallions, but no items icon_razz.gif
