Wait, I have a question. So i have to make an FFC for the fairy, the octoroks, and the rock, right? Do I set them each to the same script and the same Arguements?

yes to the FFCs and no to the script assignment. if you give it to all of them, the script will load each variable in the script... 5 times i think?(or is it 4? i dont remember...) but it would load once for each FFC it was attached to, and ZQ doesen't like it when you load them more than once. so you attach it to one FFC. but the first one only goes on the first screen. then the second one alone on the second screen, and the third screen has no script.

So if I am designing the 1st screen right now, I would put FFC one with the script and the rest without a script?

yes.

and then on the second screen, you need to do the same, but have the second script instead of the first.

Sorry for another question, but does it matter what direction the octorok is facing for ffc's 2 and 3? For example: ffc 2 HAS to be facing left; Or somthing like that.

This is past 12 hours. There is a problem with this. The message string doesn't play when entering the first screen and you just sit there not being able to move.

you may want to change the X position of the rock, then. see, if it is not in the right place and you have its velocity on the X-axis set to anything other than 1, then it might not meet the specefied area.

so try moving the rock to a different spot, and maybe that will help, but do not whift it upwards or downwards.

yep. just make sure their Y-coordinates are the same.

and just try shifting the rock by one unit at a time, until you get it figured out.

(also the rock can be right under the octorock, if you want.)

I'm still confused. What do you mean, "yep." And the coordinates for it are 80x and 80y. Could you explain this to me a little more? icon_redface.gif

i meant, yep you have it set up right.

what is the rock's speed?

EDIT: and i meant, toy with the rock's Y-coordinate until you find one that hits the right spot and runs the script.

The rock combo itself? Its speed is 5... The speed for the FFC is at 0.

well that's why. set the speed on the X-axis for the FFC to 2 or 3.

this should fix your problem.

i didnt know you meant the rock wasnt moving at all heh... icon_heh.gif

Okay, the message string works, but when I enter the screen, it keeps on playing over and over and over again.

did you set your warps? and did you make combos for warps?

if not then i have some editing to do...
