We are pleased to announce the results of our recent staff hiring and are excited to welcome Matthew, Shane, Jenny, and Taco Chopper to our PureZC staff team as new moderators. As valuable additions to the staff team, they will help foster a welcoming and positive environment on our venues, increase activity on our forums and Discord server, and offer innovative ideas to improve the community. We are confident that they will perform wonderfully with their new roles, and we are thrilled to have them onboard.

 

We would like to express our gratitude to all those who submitted their staff applications. We received a decent number of applications from many exceptional candidates, making it challenging to select only four out of the potential candidates. To those who were not selected this time, we encourage you to keep an eye out for future opportunities to join our team!

 

Congratulations to our new moderators once again, and we look forward to working with each of you and seeing the positive impact you will bring to our community.

As moderator, my first action will be to free Alex Michigan so that he can continue to give us the interesting stories and tips we can learn from.

For real though, these are great mods and congratulations to them! But hiring more mods isn't really going to fix anything right now, we need people that actually hold the power to change things.

The issue with this is if we add any more admins it wouldn't be an Admin role but would instead become an Admax role. I'm here all day.

For what it's worth, I believe Pure is the definitive Zelda Classic database in 2023. The fact that there's over 20 years of content on here - quests, tiles, scripts, otherwise - is something incredibly special for such a niche community. I'm hopeful all of us new (and returning) moderators will all be able to contribute to the community in a positive way and build upon that!
