Well, I think I've done what I can with ZNR 2.1 without breaking its core idea and core audience
If the reviews come back bad, oh well. Lessons learned for next time
The biggest thing about this update is that you're no longer stopped at Easy Mode if you finish it. Yes, you get stopped in the same place, but it advances you to Normal (competitive) Mode retaining all your Hearts when you get there so you can finish the game (it was by far the biggest respectful complaint)
Plus, the 2nd Quest cutscene, and I improved the Ganon fight, plus a few hint sprites here and there (edited)
Once I get the conversion cutscene in from beating Ganon to the ZNR difficulty selector, it will go into gamma testing
Yes, people here might remember this, from CJC's quest. I had to pull it because the scripts got broken. I fixed it! It is reimplemented into Kaizo Mode with raid battles
The next time I update, the conversion cutscene will be in and I will be going to Release Candidate (Gamma) 1.
Release Candidate (Gamma) 2 will be when I'm finished testing it.
Release Candidate (Gamma) 3 will be when my testers finish getting through it.
Hopefully we don't need any more, but that's the tentative schedule.
