Hola, guys. Anyone have any ideas for a water-based Zelda clone? I'm working on it for my 8yr old niece; the basic premise was her idea. She wants a girl hero{ine} that basically gets around the map by using the raft and fins. CHECK THIS OUT!! Does anyone remember SoulBlazer for the SNES?{one of the all-time best adventure/RPG's, in my book anyway}. Well, my niece has NEVER even heard of it, but came up with a great idea for her game thats very similar to SB. As you clear each screen of enemies, the screen basically "rebuilds" itself,{ie waters recede, houses and people appear, bridges and towers arise, etc.} Pretty damn creative for an 8yr old! All that we are lacking is a good storyline for it, and I thought I would get everyone's opinion. After all, when its done, I will be showcasing it here for all those interested in trying it out. The working title is Still Waters, but I have a feeling that will change in time. Any input is greatly appreciated. Until then, happy gaming!! ~~Lee~~

i don't understand you right, but you want to make a water-quest? you can make, the hero has flippers on the beginning... (sorry, for my english! i hope, you understand me!)
for dungeons, you can make a watertempel! (look windwaker) or a swampdungeon (look lttp), or a fish dungeon (lokk links awakening, or oracle of ages) or you can make an icedungeon! (look minish cap, lttp)

Items that can easily be waterfied:

Boomerang/Magic Boomerang: Zora's Fin

Whistle: Water Flute

Sword: Short-Range Fin, Trident, whatever

Bomb: Shock Mines

Raft: Current Rider

Bow & Arrow: Ice shot
