I'd post mine but, I don't have an image host, aside from tinypic.
I could sign up for imageshack but, eh. Too lazy. It's a shame filespace sucks nowadays.

The thing is that people don't want to wait just to see someone else's desktop. I have some pretty fast broadband here at college, but that doesn't mean I'm going to wait to see your desktop if it is huge in file size. I'd much rather spend my time waiting for 2 MB of something I'll use beyond just viewing it once or twice.
This is the same complaint that I have about a lot of the other shots in this thread. I really don't need to see crystal clear quality for desktops when I can get just as clear an idea of what your desktop looks like from a jpg no larger than 300 KB. I don't care if it has dithering issues.
Teilyr: ImageShack only requires sign up to keep track of the files and delete them. You can upload without signing up.
Edit: And yes, I do realize this is only a few seconds on broadband. No, I'm not spoiled with it. I just find it strange that some of these desktop shots have to be so huge.

Having a fast connection, I've never really liked jpegs. Nice file size, though some jpegs can get quite grainy. PNGs usually hold more visual quality.

Well, I could argue back that dialup users are used to long waits. I had my sister load that picture from her slow as heck connection, and she didn't have any complaints.

Maybe this ought to be pinned, and just made a general desktop thread. >_>

I thought of doing that before, but I had a few people complain about it.

I'm for it. It wouldn't bother me.

Wallpaper time? Sure, I'm game.
Time to display yet another desktop pic that one or two people will look at, and nobody will comment on. ^_^
What another pic omg?
I like the clean space on the edges of this pic. It seems perfect for icons. It's a nice picture, but it's also very simple... something I strive for in my wallpapers. And look! No great number of cluttered icons, either!
