I have a question that I'm having trouble figuring out how to solve.  I'm working on creating a Custom Subscreen and placing the selectable B-Button Items.  The way I have them organized on the screen are two rows of five:

Boomerangs, Bombs, Wand, Hammer, Medicine/Letter

Hookshot, Bow & Arrow, Candle, Whistle, Bait

And I have Boomerangs as Position 0, Bombs as Position 1, and so forth, with Bait being Position 9.  Anytime I start a test play with all selectable items available, the game always is set on the Candle position.  I would much prefer the default selected Item to be the Boomerang.  But anything I try, the game still selects the Candle as the default item when starting a new test play.  I have tried rearranging the items and changing the position numbers for the Boomerang and the Candle, but no matter what I do, the game always selects the Candle when opening up a new test play or moving to another map.  The Candle's Position is labeled as 4

My question is, how do you set the default sub item selected?  This way, if there's another quest I wish to make and have a different item to bet he default selected item I can do that in the future.  For now, since I'm used to having the Boomerang selected so much in Zelda games, especially in LOZ and LttP, I would much prefer to have the Boomerang selected by default.  It's annoying to playtest and shoot out fire and walk into it when I'm thinking I had the Boomerang already selected from a previous map and on a new map screen it starts on the Candle.

Thanks for anyone's help.

In older quests, I have no idea how you would set this. But newer quests using the new custom subscreen rules can literally check a checkbox on the item in the subscreen marking it as the default item.

I'm using the most recent ZQuest editor and where do I find that checkbox?  I can't seem to find it.

In the subscreen editor, in the properties for the item widget.
