Has anyone considered a quest with everything at 1/4 scale? How could you make the hit boxes work? Are there graphics for this?

The engine does not really have any natively built in support for configuring hitboxes to that size, but if you're willing to do a lot of script work, then it is possible.
Though... even if you downscale the hitboxes, enemies would not move properly with solidity at that scale, they'd walk through a lot of "solid" walls due to how they check for what is walkable.... of course you can do fully scripted enemies but.... Well, you can see that the workload spirals a bit out of control fairly quickly for just the simple things.

2.55 allows for custom sprite hitbox sizes from the editors, except for the player sprite, at present. I have indeed considered a different scale like this where everything is custom.

Theres no very neat way to place combos at a 1/4 scale. A tile is always 16x16.

I'd just use transparency and 1/4 walkability with some layers... a lot of work.
