I usually price the blue potion at around 40 and the red at around 90, when rupees cannot be found in grass, pots, etc.

It seems like the trend in questmaking is to make the red potion cheaper than twice the price of the blue, but I don't usually do that because red potions are far more valuable than that. If you don't need a red potion, save your money! icon_wink.gif It just makes more sense to me that way. :\

I'd put the Blue Potion at 40-50 and the Red at about 60-80. Whether you use the Letter or not depends on the Quest. What I'd actually use the Letter for is opening a shop that sells only the misc1 item priced at about 25-50. The misc1 item should look like an arrow wityh the word GO above it, and upon buying the item, a door opens. This way you could make the letter the "password" which someone tells you, for example, and the one you say the password to says it's a paid admission into, say, a bandit hideout.

I'm making all this off the top of my head, you know... Point is, be creative with the Letter. The Potions are just regular items as far as I'm concerned. Too many people use the Letter in conjunction with the Potions... I say step out of the box!

Y'know, if you make the red potion more than 200% the blue potion, people will just buy two blue potions.

I just make potions cheaper if you can find the Letter and more expensive without it.

That would only be true with "potion mixing" on though, right? I could easily be mistaken.

Yes, I did some more searching, and it's on Page 5 of the "Rules" section in 2.10. I'm not sure about the other versions, though.

yeah! red potions should be hard to find a store to buy them at, and they really should only be 1-5 rupee(s) less than 200%

currently, I'm selling a blue potion in Fragments for 250 gold. it's very expensive, I know, but the prices decrease as you progress through the game. besides, there's a lot of bushes

I will be selling the blue Potions for half the price of red that are going to be 170 rupees normal and with letter 120, same price as shield L2.

Good thing I will have lots of bushes then icon_smile.gif

But that is my opinion, personally I think it shoudl be about 100 - 175 for red with blue at 50 percent

There's a reason why people aren't stepping out of the box. If you're a player who always carries around a potion, you get that letter, and then you get to the bandit hideout (your example) where you need to use it... out with the potion. That's a big waste and a major irritation to the player. You cannot use the letter while you're holding a potion. That's why I don't recommend that.

Or have the Potion (both versions) be a drop from...wait, that won't work, enemies do not drop potions at all.
