Is it possible to put different songs on one map or do you have to make another map exactly the same and warpthere? Say i wanted to have a different song for the town and the overworld. Would I have to put a warp on the side of the screen to warp me to another map with the town in it? (If any of that makes sense, icon_lol.gif )

You can use the same map, but you have to use seperate DMaps. You want everything to be on the same map, right? If so, then I believe this should help.

Step 1.)Make the Dmap. . .

Step 2.)Load the midi in (QUEST/MIDI'S)

Step 3.)Go to the Damp you created and look in the midi area of the Dmap creation area to load chose the midi. . .

Once done with these three simple rules, your midi should play on that Dmap.....

Sorry ml, but I think think there needs to be a bit more detail in step 3.

Basically, after you make the second dmap, and the screens for it, where ever you need to enter that area and change the midi, just make scrolling warps to them. icon_wink.gif

So, you have 2 screens, A and B. A is dmap 1, B is dmap 2.

You want A to go to B, which it already does, except for the dmap doesn't change. So, set the side warp as a scrolling warp. It appears the same way as a regular scrolling warp (unless the palette is changed).

Got that?

Well...LTM. . . He didn't ask for all that, he just wanted to know how to load midi files. . . icon_wink.gif

But.... like LTM say's, but in my words. . . The DMaps are created and so are your screens for the DMaps too. . . Set the music and then play the game. . .Make sure you start out on that DMap though. . . if your on any other DMap. . . then you won't hear the midi playing. . . icon_wink.gif icon_thumbsup.gif

Ok thanks. Do you have to click in the map thing where it is, like in a dungeon. Prolly not, right. Do you do the same thing with the intros?

If I am thinking of what you are thinking of, no. That's just for dungeon maps after you get the map item. icon_wink.gif

About intro though, it really depends on what you mean by intro. icon_blink.gif

I'm talking about the words that pop up when you enter a re3gion, like "Overworld" or Level 9". I know how to make them, I just dont know if you follow the same steps for the dmap.
