Ok. I made a dark region of the forest...when I had my other monitor. However, that monitor didn't support Civ III, so I got a new one. But, all the colors seem to be much darker on this monitor, so I can't tell if anyone can comprehend what's in this shot. Please tell me so I might be able to fix this.

There is a very FAINT picture of Link, and a few VERY faint lines that I can't make out either. So yeah, it's WAY too dark. icon_confused.gif

If I turn my monitor's brightness up all the way, I can make out a few trees, zols, etc, but I'll get headaches this way. icon_confused.gif It's almost pitch-black otherwise.

That's REALLY dark. I see nothing. I used Ifran View to lighten it a LOT. Wow.

That's what I though. It looked completely visible on my other monitor, but on this one, I can't see anything either. I'm definitely gonna have to change this.

Yeah, it looks like a forest in the middle of night without a moon. I thought you wanted it like that. icon_lol.gif That would be cruel.

Link, a bunch of lined up trees, 4 Zols and a very very dark palette. Get rid of that palette now! O_o;

I can see it because my monitor is set to really bright to make ZC palettes look better. Try it.

On a normal, sane brightness setup, that's absolute blackness. I can't see a thing in that shot. You'd have to crank it up to "This is the brightest, in fact it's so bright you can barely make anything out behind the soup of incredible brightness" levels to see that, let alone play it.

My computer is always at max brightness, because the monitor is way too dark normally, so I can't see anything that would even remotely suggest this wasn't a black, blank screen. At first I thought this was a joke, actually. You'd best lighten it considerably.

Ugh.. Yes, please do lighten it. Earthlink accelerator has it on the 2nd to lowest acceleration point, and it STILL reduced the quality of the image to total BLACKNESS. It's like one solid color, or like you're drowning in chocolate syrup. ... ( ... icon_biggrin.gif ... ) ... Yes, thanks for lightening it. icon_razz.gif

Thanks everyone, this is what I was afraid of. I knew I should have checked before making the dark region of the forest...oh well, I'll fix it.
