I want to create a shield that breaks after being hit so many times. (Take the item away so that they can use the shield 'lower' than it.) Now, to do this, I need to be able to check if the shield had been hit so that I can reduce its durability as its hit, and once its zero, it breaks. But all I need to know is how to check if the shield has been hit with a projectile it can block. If it makes a difference, it'll be the same as the Magic Shield.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
