I voted Overworld, mainly because if you need to make an entrance to a dungeon, wouldn't you need a overworld?

Not Exactly. Some quests are all dungeon quests. Like blaman's quest.

I can't say either dungeons nor overworlds are more important than the other, but I can say that I enjoy creating overworlds more than dungeons.

I too enjoy the fine art of overworld design. Still, my opinion remains steadfast. Dungeons can make or break a quest.

Dungeons I think. Although I'm 100x better at making overworlds.

I'm better at making Dungeons than Overworlds. Nuvo said so. And he knows everything. In the woild. icon_deformed.gif

This sounds like maybe one of those Chicken-Egg riddles to me... Kinda...

Dungeons obviously. Many quests have good overworlds, but it is the dungeons that set the good and not so good quests apart from each other.

I can see why you two worked together for Lost Isle icon_naughty.gif

Dungeons! If you only had overworlds, the player would be left wandering pretty much endlessly.

Much to my own surprise, I voted for Overworlds. There's just so much more that can be done with them. If you use the Dungeon room template, you basically just get to reinvent the wheel over and over (Which to me points out why I only have 7 out of 9 dungeons done and the overworld IS done).
Unless of course you are one of greats...

I prefer dungeons. I'm alot better, IMO, at making dungeons than overowrlds. Plus, it's fun to come up with challenging puzzles in a dungeon, where in an overworld, some puzzles would come out just odd...

I enjoy overworlds more. They are, generally, more aesthetically pleasing, easier, and more laid-back. The kind of stuff I like. icon_smile.gif Overworlds are, in my opinion, the most fun in a quest.

But dungeons are very important too, and can be fun.

Overworld cause most quests have more overworld than dungeon.
