[Surreal Canine]

"You got it, Ty." the little girl answers. Ty can hear someone climbing the stairs of a watchtower. Twenty seconds later, the large doors open. As Ty walks into the beautiful courtyard, a little girl with a golden tiara and yellow jacket exits the watchtower.
"So," the girl asks. "What brings you to Hyrule Castle?"
"As if it isn't obvious, Miriam. I have something to give to Zelda."
"Tee hee. Link's gonna be sooo mad."
"Link asked me to bring this to her, dummy."
"All right then. Come with me."
Miriam opens a door to let Ty, Lucas, and Claus in.
"So who are you two? I haven't seen you around before."

[Russ]

"My name's Claus, and this is my brother Lucas. We don't exactly know how we got here, we just walked through the woods by our house and wound up here."

[Surreal Canine]

"Sounds like a magic teleport or something like that. I mean, you guys definitely aren't from around here."
Ty follows Miriam inside. She leads them upstairs to a dining hall, where a beautiful teenage princess is sipping tea.
"Good morning, Ty, and a Merry Christmas too."
"Merry Christmas, Zelda," Ty replies. "Link wanted me to give this to you." He hands Zelda a small, round gift. She carefully opens it. It's a crystal ball that shimmers like water on the inside.

[Russ]

Claus whispers to Ty "What is that?"

[Surreal Canine]

"Yeah, Ty, what is it?" Miriam asks.
"I don't know."
"I think I might know what this is for," Zelda answers. She takes out a wooden rod tipped with a crystal ball, similar in size. The one currently on the rod has an image of the Triforce of Wisdom. She takes the Triforce orb off the rod and replaces it with Link's crystal. "Stand back," Zelda says, standing up and facing the fireplace. She waves her rod. A surge of water comes out of nowhere, dousing the fire. "It's a spell orb for the Rod of Wisdom. This one's for water spells. Tell Link I think it was thoughtful of him to give me this."
"Sure thing, Zelda."

[Russ]

"Wow, getting a magic spell for Christmas. I wish it was like that where we came from." Lucas sighs.

[Surreal Canine]

"Yeah, well you know how it is in America. All things awesome are from the other countries," Ty says with a laugh as the three of them leave the castle. "So. You have anywhere you need to go?"

[Russ]

"How about home?"

"Lucas, how can you say that? We've got the chance to explore an entirely different land, and all you can think about is home?"

[Surreal Canine]

"Well, he's got a point, really," Ty says. "Hey, here's an idea. You guys up for a bit of competition? There's a huge tournament coming up that I'd really like to compete in. Thing is, I need a team. Would you guys be up for that?"

[Russ]

"Yes!"
"No!"

The two answers come simultaneously. "Lucas, come on."

"Fine. As long as it's short."

[Surreal Canine]

Ty laughs. "Well, I can't guarantee that. It'll definitely take until summer to get our team ready, and then we have to actually fight. The tournament itself takes place on the weekend of June 20th. We have until then to go to eight combat dojos scattered around Elmundo and get all eight badges. Then we find one of the 32 entry passes and our team's guaranteed a spot in the tourney."

[Russ]

"Count me out." Lucas begins walking away, but Claus grabs him by his shirt collar and drags him back.

Oh no you don't. "We're going to enter than competition Lucas."

"Why does this always happen to me?"

[Surreal Canine]

"The blond kid's right. You should just give up now." Ty turns around. Bowser Jr. and a teenage human girl are watching them.

OOC: But it's not the usual Bowser Jr. you're so used to seeing. If you can imagine a teenage Bowser, that's what he looks like. Like this.

Jr.'s holding a rather large paintbrush, and the girl has a wooden staff. The girl is about five feet tall, with brown eyes and hair. She looks a lot like Jenna from Golden Sun.
"Excuse me?" Ty asks.
"Just give up, kid. 'Cause there's no way Terra and I are gonna lose to you."
"We'll see about that!"
"You're kidding. You don't even have a real weapon, just that little boomerang."
"Oh, you're one to talk, Vincent van Koopa."
The girl laughs. "Good one." Jr. gives her an annoyed look.
"Perhaps you'd like to settle this now."
"...You're on."
Like Father, Like Son (Battle Theme of Bowser, Jr.)
"Bowser, you're still low on HP from that fight against the Venusaur," the girl says. "Here, this should help."

Terra holds out her staff. Energy rises from the ground, fully healing Jr.

OOC: Since Bowser Sr. doesn't appear at all, I'm just gonna refer to Jr. as Bowser, just like Terra does. Hope you don't mind.

[Russ]

"Okay, that's it, I'm out of here." Lucas starts walking away. Claus grabs him, again.

"Lucas, you're staying heere whether you like it or not."

"Fine."

OOC: Before I start my attack, is there still snow on the ground here?

OOC: Yes. But it might melt
