New stage is always a good update. Also, it seems to be the first stage yet that doesn't involve shifting geometry.

I actually like all of the updates. It's something free and interesting to start your day/morning with. What's wrong with that?

Well, Mario IS Nintendo's mascot. I don't see a problem with getting a little extra splendor in the series (although there were 5 Mario-series characters in Melee: Mario, Dr. Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser. I don't count those who don't share the Mushroom emblem.) I would like to see more Metroid-series characters in Brawl (from Hunters or Prime 3, perhaps?)

Doesn't Stafy also appear in Super Mario Galaxy?

Stafy reminds me of Twink from Paper Mario with a second attack.

I'm not surprised that Waluigi is an Assist Trophy. The only games he featured in were sports games, Mario Kart, and Mario Party. He's more neglected than Luigi, when it comes to game appearances.

A mixed bag addition. Stafy is kinda weak, yet explosive, Waluigi's not a playable character, that's saddening...

On the other hand, at least they're good updates.

I bet they'll have one. I also hope Luigi has a vacuum move (I can't believe they'd ever leave Luigi out of the game).

Before Waluigi is included in Smash Bros., he needs a better costume. Mario Bros. redux just doesn't cut it; it doesn't look cool at all, and it makes it a pain to differentiate the Mario characters when the camera zooms out.

Then it's probably just a Pokeball Pokemon, not a playable character.
