The Zelda games where it almost makes too much sense to fish, and there's no fishing? lol

I miss being able to swim under the water surface. It's a feature in so many Zelda games it isn't funny :/ also Gerudo Town trees cast a shadow that reminds me of the new shadows Nintendo added throughout Wind Waker HD: https://youtu.be/aTEwMBrTrJ8 (ie: They look like shit unless you're quite literally standing on them, in the case of Wind Waker HD it barely improved visual immersion due to the less than stellar frame rate, especially when compared to Gamecubes near consistent 30FPS)

Anybody else found it weird that you can find Hot Springs that gradually heal you, but the water at Great Fairy's don't heal you when you swim in it?

Are we talking about in general or just for Wind Waker? Because Wind Waker on Gamecube only ran at 30fps. Twilight Princess also only ran at 30fps. The only Zelda games that run at 60fps are the 2D sprite-based games, A Link Between Worlds, and Tri Force Heroes.

Yeah I thought that was odd too.
I only have 9 more shrines to find, and they're all tied to quests I don't have yet. You are able to still do some of them, then the quest is instantly complete when you get it. I don't want to use a guide, but I'm not above looking at a map to get a general idea.
Can someone tell me if any of the side quests are.. actually worth it? I've done about 40 and have been less than amazed by the copious rupees, which I don't need cause I am sitting on 30,000 rupees.

Minish Cap and Four Swords/Adventures I could see, but wasn't the GBC and SNES framelocked at 30 FPS?

Okay, so this is great. I saw a video (too lazy to find it again) and I just had to try it for myself. Has anyone else tried seeing how high they can get by attaching octo-balloons to a round rock? It's kind of tricky, but once you get a rhythm going, it's not too bad, and quite amusing. It took about ~70 balloons to reach the highest point you can before they automatically pop no matter what. It took about 20 minutes for me, and I messed up a few times, and I was attaching no more than 3 at a time.
EDIT: And Koh, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure both NES and SNES ran at 60. (Edit: these guys probably know their stuff) I know some games didn't though, like StarFox for example. I feel like it was harder to notice frame-rates then, not only because people weren't as aware of that kind of stuff, but also because most 2D animations done on those system didn't really take advantage of the amount of FPS. Even if there are 60FPS, a sprite with 8 frames of animation will look the same, always, unless the frame rate dips below 8FPS. ![]()

Lol, those numbers are hilarious. So it's not really 60 FPS, but 59.asdafjsdgs XXDDD
Also, this. Not sure if it's a spoiler, so I'll tag it just in case, for my fellow bros~

Before being aware of and experiencing 60fps: "I don't see the difference. I don't get what's with all the fuss."
After being aware of 60fps and experiencing it and trying to go back to 30fps: "UGH!!!"

Still don't have the game yet, but have been watching more of the recording of Angry Joe's stream. Like I said before, him and "Other Joe" have never played one of these before. Beginning of the second recording, AJ is telling OJ some of the things he found out after OJ left to sleep, and added in a few pretty funny stupid comments to see if OJ would fall for them. One of them was something along the lines of:
"I found a fairy, and they act kind of like an extra life. They'll refill your health when you die. Even better, if you cook them, you get an amazing healing item."
At this point, I kind of want to see a quest put together with all of the ideas mentioned in his stream. A sort of "Legend of Zelda: Angry Joe Edition". A lot of this stuff is hilarious.

Your post is a bit confusing. Are you treating that quote as though it's one of the jokes from Angry Joe? Because if so, it's not a joke. That's a thing you can do. Though you're not technically cooking them so much as they're blessing the result.
