In order to test how clocks affect Peahats in the real LoZ, I made a Lua script that creates clocks. If you use it on a screen with a Gleeok, the clocks will become part of one of the necks.

If you let any of those clocks disappear, the head comes off (in the normal way, I mean).

Attack of the Gleeclock! But yeah, I've seen tons of videos on the Lua Script for various games an they're awesome.

So I got my driver's license yesterday. I'm on my Learner's permit though, so I need someone with a Provisional licence (such as most of my friends) in the car as I drive.

Going to have to...

  • Wait 12 months.
  • Get 75 hours of driving time.
  • Get 15 hours of night-time driving time.
  • Turn 17 (aka 6 months time).

...to get my Provisional licence.

My god Saffith made a monster of clocks.

Someone tell Jamian to make that the boss of his Level 5 in Promised Lands (anybody who gets this, kudos to you)

Pretty stiff requirements. I remember back when I was around that age, it was only 6 months waiting and 50 documented hours. You could in theory have your license at 16 and a half (assuming you pass the permit test on your 16th birthday and get your road test passed on the first try as well). I was almost 19 before I got mine. Luckily for me, I was 18 when I passed my permit test, so I could have gone in the next day for the road test. Man, that was scary, especially failing it the first time and being afraid my father was going to kill me (kill me translating into him screaming at me and beating me) for failing. The 2nd time I had him terrified because I was literally 1/4 inch from failing the parallel park.

The shame of it is even with all of those requirements, most young people drive like maniacs. I'm talking generally the 16-25 group, although anymore it seems EVERYONE is in a damn hurry. Upping the number of hours needed or other arbitrary requirements won't fix the problems, just delay in the inevitability of more reckless drivers getting on the road. Get up a bit earlier or leave earlier and you wouldn't need to drive 55-60 in a 45 MPH zone. I was so happy once I had my license. No more being taken to and from places by my ricky road racing older brother that half the time he stops you think he'll rear end someone. I can drive at my own comfortable speed limit speed.

I'm NOT saying everyone drives terribly, but at least in Pennsylvania where I live, it feels like I'm one of the very few that actually drive the speed limit and drive without a cell phone glued to my ear.

Left 4 Dead has a very shitty online community. Five of us were playing a 4v1 match for fun and on the last chapter some people manage to get into the server using some browser despite the game being a friends-only one, act like dicks, and kick Russ out. So I basically said "fuck you" (something I don't say often) and all of us left.

Don't play Left 4 Dead online unless you're prepared. Just... don't.

Speaking of online communities, I (and someone else from here) got kicked out of a IRC channel for discussing if Runescape was bad or not. Uh, otherwise, no explanation was given out. No warning was given out that this was somehow offensive to do on their server either. And sad of all, it was a flat out, rational permanent ban. And I was barely in for two minutes, lol.

Thought I'd share a hilarious story with y'all.

I think that's ALL online gaming communities TS. I play Runescape and used to play MapleStory. Runescape is full of idiotic 12 year old trolls that get off on being pricks. The most common problem is kill stealing or as the kids call it nowadays, "crashing". Often it's a high level attacking a lower level player's monster so that the high level uses the low level to sponge damage and the high level usually does the majority of damage and gets the spoils of killing them. Often paired up with crap like "umadbro?" and "lol noob go back to killing Goblins (one of the weakest monsters in the game)".

Pures are especially bad for that. Pures are characters that basically abuse the convoluted character level formula so that they are much stronger than their level suggests, often never leveling up their Defense skill. For instance, having a level 50 player that deals the same damage as your average level 70 balanced player. Even worse now in PvP (player versus player for those not savvy with MMO terms), most people are just troll raggers. Raggers are people that risk very little if anything and essentially just harass genuine PvP'ers by wasting their time and resources. So you burn through a few pieces of food to kill the noob and all you loot are his bones...just for him to come back 5 seconds later to attack you again.

I quit MapleStory back in July of 2012, when they added a class called Jett to the game. MapleStory was the WORST community ever. If you're a noob, my advice? Avoid EVERYONE and keep a mousy demeanor. Don't waste your time trying to talk to a high level. They want NOTHING to do with you because you're a noob and your kind is only good for begging. Oh and NEVER start shit with people. You will have people hunt you down and crash you on every map you try to train at. If you're really unlucky, then you'll have an asshole that DC hacks you by rapidly spamming @@@@ into your chat. Basically, they're using a hack to DDoS you out of the game. Thankfully, it only works on that one character, but still. That and 90% of the community actively SUPPORTS hacking, cheating and exploiting glitches. Say you don't like any of them and prepare to have your MapleStory life made a living hell. I don't know if it's gotten any better since I quit, but I'm not going to go back and find out.

Lastly, Minecraft communities. Every server I have ever been on, no matter what, always has one asshole griefer. It doesn't matter if it's vanilla Minecraft or the guy has Big Brother and all those other plugins. Within a week, I'll come back to play on the server to one of the following:

-My house's torches all knocked out

-All of my carpets/wool harvested

-Most of my stone brick house mined out

-Water/Lava floods

-Chests destroyed/looted

-NSFW images

-My or other players' houses randomly destroyed or cobbled

I'm almost at the point I don't give anyone a chance just because I know the inevitable happens 99% of the time. Even in Runescape I hear about it all the time. Two people are friends, then someone is like "Can I borrow your (expensive item here)?" and says yes. The other guy is never seen again. Best of all, Jagex has the most baffling report system. If you get scammed and report someone, they get muted and very rarely banned. You? Jagex pretty much gives you the middle finger. You don't get your stuff back. So put into a real life view, that's as if I broke into your house, destroyed your $2,000 TV and you got the cops to arrest me. I go to jail and you? Too bad so sad; you're out a $2,000 TV!

In short, gaming communities are generally really bad, especially in very popular games like Minecraft. And yes, I do realize not everyone is like that and the people here on PureZC don't give me the vibe of a bunch of childish trolls with nothing better to do but be a nuisance. I'm just saying in general I noticed there is just a lot of nastiness. Maybe I'm just being stubborn like Eustace Bagge but I really find it hard to give people chances anymore when most of the time I end up dealing with the same crap as when I was a kid.

Yes, I understand, Minecraft Communities are trash most of the time. I joined this one Zelda Themed server one time, and it was fun. But one of the Admins was a power abusing butt. Just like Russ is, concerning Evan20000. I made a really small house, and didn't have much, but the admin would steal all my things and grief my house. I would ask him to stop, and he said, and I quote, "I don't give a f***. I'm an Admin, and I can do whatever the f*** I want. Shut up kid." This would happen regularly, until one day when he was offline, I destroyed all his things. And I mean everything. Burnt all his items and destroyed all his buildings. I got banned, but I don't care, that server sucked. Also, on the Hunger Games server I play on, there are always hackers that always win, and are obviously.hacking, but say they are legit and are good at the game. They tick em off so bad. Here is one example:

Yeah, you get this stuff everywhere. I never had any problems with online communities, but I still have yet to run into something like that.
