So I got my School Report for Grade 10, I got mostly C (Standard) and B (Above Standard) grades. But I don't even know what's up with my English grade.

Firstly, I'd like to point out despite months of learning Romeo and Juliet with my English teacher, she seems incapable of spelling William Shakespeare's last name as we see the name Shakespear on the whiteboard. Apparently I had solid use of ICT skills yet we didn't even do anything computer related and yet she seems to be the only one who marked my literacy was at a standard level despite her multiple times telling me I have some of the best literacy skills in class - including her nominating me for the literacy award at graduation. In the end, I got a D (Below Standard). I'm not going to let that get me though because I got a lot of good feedback on my literacy skills elsewhere.

Also my numeracy skills have improved amazingly. That was my goal for Grade 10!

^ Just wat. That's really odd, considering the fact that she always says you got the best literacy skills in the class... and still get a D.

I've had something happen to me before with grades too, which is quite similar to that story. I got my Autumn Term Year 10 report, every subject was B, and 2 were on A. When I looked at my PE (gym) grade, I just went WTF the whole way through reading that section. Apparently I can demonstrate gymnastic skills very well and I can play Football very efficiently <-- I believe I DON'T participate in any lessons, so I have no idea where this B came from, but I'm happy with it anyway lol.

Dang, nice grades. Assuming it's similar to our grading system where C is the "standard" grade and A-B is "above average" and D-E is "below average". Anyway what's even stranger is that everything was at a "standard" expectation in my English report. My literacy and numeracy - my ICT, critical and creative thinking were above standard. This would have meant a C or a B, but a D? I don't understand. It doesn't make sense.

The British system works like this:

Grades - GCSE/Year 9 up

U - Ungraded

G-E - Poor

D - Satisfactory

C-B - Average/Good

A - Very Good

A* - Excellent (an A* is not a novelty in this country, it's its own separate grade)

And then you got the levels for the younger kids:

Levels - Year 9 also and below, these levels are numbers and they come with sublevels, a, b, c, a being the best of the level and c being the lowest of that particular level.

N/A - Unlevelled

2 - Poor

3 - Satisfactory

4 - Average

5 - Good

6 - Very Good

7 - Excellent

8 - Outstanding

EP - Exceptional Performance (could in theory be a Level 9)

For grades, U is the only fail grade. G and above are all "pass" grades but you need C-A* to get into college or university.

Oh, are we posting school grades?

Well, I got straight A's, with my lowest grade being a 95, and that in Science. My highest grade was a tie between History and English, which were both 108%. I don't even know how I did that good in English, my reading comprehension sucks. He gives a crap about what the person is feeling, and emotional challenges he is going through. I know it might be important, but I don't get it.

Also, I heard the only way for a story to be good is if the main character goes through a change of personality at the end of the story. I don't get that. I have read a lot of books were the main character didn't go through an emotional change at the end, and I thought they were just as good or even better than stories that did. But then again, I am terrible at reading emotions, and my Aspergers doesn't help, so that is probably the reasoning.

I got straight A's last semester. Calculus was difficult, but I was able to pull off an A by getting 91 and 99 on my last two tests. I think I aced the final too but never checked. This semester I'll be starting Physics in addition to Calculus. Sounds pretty fun. I'm also taking communications. It should be a piece of cake, as I'm a great orator.

When I was in high school, I got mostly A's and B's, and from 11th to 12th grade, my lowest grade was an 88%. Math was my main subject, having gone the entirety of 10th and 11th with straight 100s on my report card. My worst was History, which usually was enough to prevent me from getting on the distinguished honor roll. In the end, I finished high school up with 95.036 GPA with no weighted courses. College was slightly above the 3.5 mark, good enough to earn me Cum Laude. My older brother on the other hand got Summa Cum Laude at one of the colleges he went to (with a 3.9 GPA). For those that don't know how the 4.0 scale works, most colleges require at least a 2.0 to retain enrollment (3.0 in some studies).

I won't post my grades here, BUT...I did something, and it was like "Wheeeee your semester average is like, all passing grades." and I was like "Yaaaaaay."

Needless to say, I'm feeling kinda sleepy.

So, 2,000 word essay. Yaaaaaaaaaaay

And I gotta say, in 1 hour and 45 mins, I managed to type out another 1,500 words followed by the 300 I did last Friday. If I don't get Band 5 (A/A*) for this... I will shoot somebody.

But I can only hope I guess.

You're a tree now. Jeez...

(btw welcome back buddy. we missed you.)

I have done it. I have finally become what I've always wanted to be. A maple tree. They thought I was crazy... But I did it. I have become one with nature.

Anywho, thanks! My silliness is the reason for my departure. I only have myself to blame..

Nicklegends can sing, that's the reason.

We're now just waiting for Russ and TS to do one.
