I don't think many people are excited about Krystal. I don't know about you, but most of the Starfox fans I know complained about Starfox Adventures.
Furry fans seem to love her, though.
Nintendo couldn't have picked a better stage to show for the update than Hyrule Temple. I'm hoping for Sector Z, Rainbow Cruise, Mute City, Big Blue, Fourside, and many others to reappear in Brawl. I wonder if Mushroom Kingdom I will combine the pipes and ? block concepts from its two previous incarnations. Also, hoping for Mushroom Kingdom III.
I totally agree. The biggest stage from Melee is a very solid inclusion.
I do not agree about Big Blue. I hope to god it doesn't return, because of the way the moving street works.
Rainbow Cruise is kind of silly stage, but it's definitely not one of the worst. I'd say Big Blue and the Ice Climbers stage compete for the worst in Melee.
I do like the DK stages in Melee, but only if I don't have to listen to DK Rap... Also, personally, I'm hoping Flat Zone returns. There's nothing quite so crazy as a stage where KOs happen about once every 15 seconds. <3 The music is also very fun.

...Anyway, great to hear that they're putting Melee stages in.
You mean a stage that's based off of SMB3?

Something tells me the PictoChat stage is the new Flat Zone...

Exactly.
I wonder what hazards can be added to the stage.
Also, I just got an idea for Bowser's airship as a stage. But then, we already have the Halberd
EDIT: Also, Mushroom Kingdom II can be improved by adding those golden masks that attack you if you're carrying a key. Like, a key spawns on the level, and if you touch it, you automatically pick it up. Then the masks appear. The match can become a game of tag until the key disappears.

You mean as far as size is concerned? Yeah, it probably is in that respect. However, it's a different type of stage: it has some similarity to Pokemon Stadium in that it's stationary, but the "terrain" changes. Super Flat Zone had random debris that fell, but the stage itself remained basically the same shape.
Anyway, Flat Zone LOOKS like a super-simple stage to reproduce, so I'm hoping it comes back.

Very good ideas.
Although, I can't see them putting in something as convoluted as a game of key-tag. Unless it were limited to an event battle or Adventure stage, that is.
Awesome. I've been wondering how they would choose to replicate Hyrule Temples goodness... this is the perfect way to do so ^_^. The biggest update in awhile, but still lacking some umphff. A new character would be cool... (Tom Nook anyone?)
Given, Smash Bros. has a penchant for taking seemingly harmless characters and making them into fighters, but... any character from Animal Crossing portrayed as a fighter seems to be an even further stretch than normal.
