arieltap, sorry if I wasn't explicit enough. Also, that door on the second floor is one way. Naturally it won't open from that side. On the first floor, in the top left corner, don't some of the walls, or at least one of them, look cracked? It is an old tower afterall.

 

jwex001, did you download the latest version? It fixes this problem. I will be fixing this with DLC, but that is coming later.

 

Avalee, have you looked in the mountains? Maybe that torch will help you see something in the daylight. Oh and there are two warps near the tower. One leads to the final boss. You can take on the final boss at any time FYI.

 

yes, i thought i did, and just to be safe re-downloaded it following the link at the beginning of this topic, and still does not show the one i picked up, and still have not found the hookshot so i can do the cave behind the waterfall level

Ok, i am confused.  how can you get the hookshot, if you need the hookshot to get it?  am i missing a bomable wall or something there.  all i have gotten is a single solitary key.

Finally found it, Thanks for the help. I had to use an lp to see where to go exactly, for some reason it never let me go that route until i saw it.  Still looking for the first sword upgrade.  still an awesome quest..

How many skulls are there in ancient passage ? I have found a red and a green. Also how many warp portals to dark World are there. Is it possible to put up a list where they are located, at least in which parts of overworld ?

Eight Skulls total.

At least 9 warps on the 8 overworld maps. The only world that doesn't have it is SW Titania. There are also warps in the Ancient's Pass that take you to the Dark World faster, but you may need a Big Key from that level to use them. No direct list, but think about the items you get in the Dark World. The Flippers and the Lens really open up how to look for things, which ironically is what I considered the second and third level in the Dark World respectively .

I'm in the Dungeon of Light, looking for my first magic. I assume this chest holds the prize. I have looked everywhere, been to every room, bombed every crack (and some walls without cracks), killed everyone, and no key. I assume the wand will open the cloaked chests (once I have the magic). I also have the boss key. Can anyone remember that last key? Thanks!

in the first 2x2 room on right, key in small chest,
Spike room 3x1 where you shoot the arrow to open the blocks up.
After 3x1 room, there is a 2x2 room. Lower left corner, kill all the foes.
Key after long passage, going up on 2nd floor and coming back down. The room itself has Many gohmas to kill.

Second Floor
One room south of room with steps.
2nd Big 2X2 room. Kill 8 blue darknuts for key

Thanks for all this! I think I see the problem. If I must shoot an arrow here to lower the blocks:

 

 

then, I must have the wrong arrow. If I need the arrow of light first, I couldn't find any new paths in the behind the waterfall dungeon (which I assumed were the "lake caverns"). If I'm wrong, please direct me to the light arrow caverns. Thanks NVM! I found the key and opened the chest. Sheesh!
