Even when it's pulled at the bottom, I can't record it. This problem is really starting to frustrate me, and i bet a lot of other people

There's a REALLY annoying problem that won't go away. EVERY time I open ZC or ZQ nowadays, I have to pull it to the bottom of the screen. Even when I do that sometimes, it freezes up.

This happens with ZC as well? ..I thought it was only ZQ.
What exactly happens to ZC if you don't pull it to the bottom, and are there any settings/config flags/resolutions that may help resolve this behavior?

I can't see the little bar with the options either, unless I pull it. Even with it pulled at the bottom, I have to move it or minimize and maximize the game to see what I clicked (If that makes sense)
So, guessing from this, I think not. I'm not sure, though.
I'm using Win7 by the way.

I don't know about win 7 but is there a combatablity mode?
Where you can run Zelda classic in it?

I'm not sure. I never heard of it.
Do you have the icon on the desktop if so
right click it then go to properties click it and a windows open there should be tab called compatibility click it too
you should see some options like
run this program in compatibility mode for:
etc;
but this on my vista
it should be the same way on win 7

There's also a minor graphical bug with the Hookshot, where it's possible to have Link facing up, shooting the Hookshot, then turning to the left or right and the hookshot graphics will be all screwed up. This is only possible when you're using the Feather with it, or sometimes in Side Gravity screens. This is possible in every other direction too.

There seems to be something wrong with vertical screen scrolling (although horizontal works fine).
Also, when pressing against a solid combo, Link will only walk in place if he is facing left.
I know I said that this did not happen when I loaded another quest - well that's not exactly true.
The "other quest" was the default Zelda 1 game. I am still having the screen scrolling problem.
Here is a video:
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Cx4QtBg4goE
As you can see, despite some lag, the screen scroll works fine except for the vertical scroll in my quest -
Link & the screen jump forward as if screen scrolling was turned off, then it rapidly switches to scrolling mode.
I can't think of any quest rule where scrolling would work horizonally, but not vertically.
I forgot to make a video of the problem of Link walking into a solid combo, but it is easy enough to imagine.
When Link walks into a solid combo, he keeps walking in place, if he is facing East that is - otherwise he
stands stock still and won't walk in place (if he is facing North, South or West). I did not have these problems
in the previous build (1331)

I don't see the walking in place inconsistency, though. Is that one the same in every quest?

I think that's happening because you're scrolling between screens with and without the subscreen. If you set them both the same, or check the "... But Don't Offset Screen" flag, does that fix your problem?

It was the subscreen thanks (boy, do I feel stupid)
I tried the walking thing again, and Link stands still when trying to walk against a solid combo in any direction.
I was under the impression that he was supposed to walk in place - this is what happens in another quest I have.
I think I got the inconsistency because Link was on a screen full of solid combos- which would be my fault again

it appears to be completely random whether or not I am able to click the drop-down menu to choose
which track I want to use. Sometimes it is grayed out and I can't choose a specific track, other times
it works correctly. Any ideas?
