Any of them mirrorrobes? Or were they not available in 1.90? Actual question, only sounds like a smartassism. If there's none of them, then I may just skip on it. nevermind on that, got the mirror shield

New question: I need to know how to get to the SE section's part of the medallion maze room. How do I get to that part to hit that trigger?

To repeat what I said in an earlier post:

1) Start from the hub screen that has the openable trapdoor, some pits, and you can leave the screen in any direction.
2) You can technically go in any hole and then go through the basement maze, but to make things simpler, go right a screen, then down one, and fall in a hole on this screen. You'll end up near a ladder.
3) Go right a screen, past the water, then around and up the ladder you saw a second ago.
4) Hit the button here to get rid of the barrier on the other side of the wall, then fall in a pit again.
5) Go through the maze and end up back at the hub screen.
6) Go right two screens, down one, right one, and then up the ladder to reach Floor 2.
7) Make it through the screens on floor 2 to reach the button.
8 ) Backtrack to the hub screen again, then go up a screen, up the ladder, and through this area again to reach the center area with the medallion.

Level 8- found 4 entrances
Here are all of the places I've been and my inventory at the moment:

It's 5:55:55, make a wish!

Where do I need to go to find the wand? I have found where I need to use it, but can't find the wand. (As you can see, I already have the book).

Thanks

When I got to #7 there was a pit on the right that I could'nt cross and if I went left I couldn't push the blocks to get thru. I got to 2nd column third screen from top.
I did all this and when I did #8 I got to an area where I saw the pc with log 1
I can see the medallion but can't get to it. I'm only in the second ring. What am I doing wrong? I've spend hours doing this. Thanks for all the help.

jerome - just continue to explore areas on the map you haven't been to yet. It's in that lower left area.

Crackers - I'll get back to you in a while when I have my maps (I'm using another computer). But just keep exploring the area and you should be able to find it eventually. I don't think it's really that hard, just a little confusing.

Your right, this is very confusing. I'm having trouble trying to get to the buttons on the right side of the white square where the medallion is. I'm not real good at explaining when I get stuck. I went back and redid your instructions and got all the buttons I could. I just can't get any farther than the outside white square.

Well using the ZC Mapmaker and some editing in paint, I made some maps for Level 7. They don't show every last detail, but you can basically figure out what to do if you just follow these. Just find where you're stuck and work backwards until you can figure out how to do it.

Basement
Floor 1
Floor 2

I also have one for Level 5, but this doesn't show where any of the warps lead or anything like that. It's basically a replacement of the in-game map if you can't get that to work.

I hope this helps. From your maps I can see the areas that are giving me trouble...a lot more than I thought. Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it.

Hope this doesn't count as a double post. It has been 24 hours.

I finished your quest up until the part where I got my 6 keys back in lv9. I never got the cheese for the bonus area. I must have already had one. Anyway, don't know why I don't have one, but what was I suppose to get?. Don't know if I'm going to download 192 to play the rest. Had a great time although I hated lv7, very confusing. Love the rest.
I did go to the web site that the last screen gave but couldn't find the second half of this quest.

you get the cheese for the bonus level after going through the screens after the one where they ask you for it. There's a room for potions, wand, hookshot, super bomb, lens, and hammer, and then you get it. The prize is a code that you can use to get the enhanced version of the second piece.

Anyway, I strongly suggest playing the second part, because I think that it's the best part of the game by far. And if you couldn't find the download link, then apparently you typed it in wrong or something, because it's definitely there. I'd double-check that if I were you.

Question: What in the hell am I supposed to do in Zelda's room? I boomeranged her, burned her, pushed her, shot her, blew her up several times. What do I need to do in there?

You can't do anything to Zelda directly. If you're still talking about the first part of the quest, there's nothing you can do at all. If you're talking about the second part after beating the last boss, it's all done through a cutscene. Just go get the dust pile.

First of all, let me comment on 1.90...
I actually bothered to download 1.90 (works perfectly) and 1.92 (haven't tried yet). Kinda strange, with setup screen and long loading... While playing 2.10 quests, I hear my own SFX selection (mostly LttP), so the usual LoZ sounds would be strange already, but seems like 1.90 has even more Classic sounding... sounds. The controls are harder, too.

About the quest...
So far so insanely good. I stopped playing Bikdip 1 long ago (didn't like it) but this one seemngly will hit the grade. I even found 2 HCPs and a full potion in the beginning. I have L2 boomerang and L2 candle, but can't find the way to L2... According to the readme, I need the HC from there to get that freackin sword...

You'll want to go to the cave a screen above where you got your first item, then kill all the chocolate chips (Gels) with the boomerang. Then you have to burn the correct tree to pass. It's annoying, but that's the only "test" to check for the red candle that you can really do in 1.90.

Fun fact - if you start the game with the candle and then go through that half of Level 1 to get the magic boomerang, you can skip the second half, because the red candle is completely skippable. However, that means that you'll have to use bombs or at least exit/re-enter rooms in level 2 in order to kill stuff.

I did download the second part and am playing it in 192b184. I played the "game" talked to grampa, got the easter egg and am stuck. How do I get out of there? I can only go to those two rooms. I tried both normal and easy and can't figure it out.
