I'm just not getting the maze or the riddle to it in level 9, any help please?

The maze on 2nd floor west with the old man giving a riddle about a high roller moving forward.

Ah. Awfully subtle isn't it.

When you think of high, you think of?
When you think of backwards, you think of?
When you think of forward, you think of.
I left the 3rd hint out since it's the same hint.

The key words here are: high, backward, forward.
Try to think of it in a Zelda perspective. If you're still confused, I'll PM the solution to you.

Fooled me with that one. I was thinking backwards=down and that that part meant it would be the right maze if you get out if it by going down. I was also trying to follow the map. Got it now though, thanks.

Yup, with that room, following the map will get you nowhere.

Is this the lead for the arrow?? or the bow??, I need the directions for getting just the arrow, since I have the bow!

From start take path and fall through hole; go east and through east door; through mummy alley and up; take west path; take nw path; defeat wizzrobes; to pass north; slash pot walk west.

EDIT: For those of you that may be having issues getting through the "narrow" path in level 5, there is going to be an update that will make it a little easier.
For now, use this.

I am currently in Level 3 right now. I have already found the compass, the key beyond the false wall in the northeast, and the map. I am currently looking for the key to the lock block in a room full of pots, blocks, and snakes. Where is it? I also noticed the false wall north of the map but could not reach the real chest yet. Is this chest accessable yet?

I found the boomerang thanks to the various hints on the thread. I also understand the stepladder is present in the dungeon and that there are other false walls.

In the compass room, push one of the pots instead of slashing it. I think this is what you missed.

No, CC, that's in level 2. What you need boram_c is the ladder, which is in that chest you can't reach. Make sure you check both chests before the last one. Something may happen when you do.
