I remember, when I rented a Gamecube and Melee for my birthday, EVERYONE played as Bowser, even though he sucked.
That's just what happens when a new Smash game comes out. Everyone ignores the old characters and plays the new characters. I played with Bowser and many other new characters before finally sticking with my favorite. I gotta admit, the first thing I'll do when I first play Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be playing as the new characters, although I'm not sure which one to play first. I'll probably pick either Wario or Meta Knight.

And it does say that Bowser'll have a "Different Flavour" this time. Whatever that means.

So a lot of people are going to be reworked. I hope not too much though. I mean I really do.

Oh, Marth's staying in, all right. It isn't confirmed, but if the best Smash player in the world (Ken Hoang) uses Marth, he's probably going to be in the next game.
Marth is the icon of the FE series. Of course they wouldn't remove him. Marth is used by many people because he is really quite uber with Power and Speed. Speed determines if a character is good or not. Power is a bonus.

That's my guess, anyway
I just wish they'd release a complete character list
