That all by itself pretty much wins this entire thread.




Back at the end of April, I won second place in a Brawl Tournament hosted at Queens College. We had a few pro players over. They were unbelievable from afar. Oddly manageable from up close. Brawl really takes the heat off of the game from Melee. Anyway, the guy who won first, who I faced in the final round, was my sparring partner; but he spams those Snake glitches like crazy. I'm not surprised. I think I was using Fox up until that point, and decided to try a hookshot tactic to bypass his spammitude. I guessed wrong, though by the skin of my teeth. We both were over 100% damage, had one stock left. He bounced off my head. Oh well.

I beat Guitar Hero Aerosmith on Hard! Rockin'!

I have beaten four zelda games (Wind Waker, Majora's Mask, Oracle of Ages and Four Swords Adventures, respectively) and have almost beaten Phantom Hourglass (I could crack down and conquer Temple of the Ocean King and beat Bellum, but I'm going in and out of Temple of the Ocean King and killing all the Phantoms on floors 7 and 8 over and over so as to collect all the ship parts).

In Pokemon Pearl, I got Palkia to 1 HP, and then caught it! I caught Palkia!

I managed to defeat Guardian! (the one blocking your way into Vector before you go through the cave leading to the Esper Gate)
Too bad I didn't get anything from it...

(I used Setzer's Joker's Death move to kill it)

False swipe is an indespensable move for collectors.

Uhh... I beat the Sacred Grounds on Cave Story for the 6th time... yeah, that's my achievement.

Yeah, you can't go into Vector until you release the Espers. Guardian just stays there, in its near-invincible state.

Beat Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters on original GB. Sweet game, nowhere near as hard as the original though. Still, I guess it's a pretty difficult game by today's standards.
