I did it. I beat all the shrines. I had to have the last one's location told to me... it didn't have a quest but it wasn't out in the open, required a puzzle to open it.

Shrine location

Anyway, that takes care of that obstacle... But it's far from the end. I have to find all the Koroks... and I want to make sure I get every outfit piece (amiibo aside) and fully upgrade them. Then make sure I have every landmark on the map... Also the last 15 sidequests. So I'm still gonna be busy a while. :P

Spoilers about all shrines reward

I could say a lot about my enjoyment with the game, but I think I'll save it for the end.

I'll say this though... remember that this game will have DLC? Remember when people claimed that Nintendo was selling us an incomplete game to charge us for things that should be in the final game? Does anyone, after playing the game, feel like the game's incomplete? No? I thought not.

Well, it's still missing a NG+ Mode which Skyward Sword, Wind Waker HD, Wind Waker, TLOZ, Zelda II, etc. had without needing to buy anything extra.

We have a long way to go.

Granted, I still have to beat the game...

Interesting feature. You don't need to pray to the Goddess statues animal sacrifices also work. Simply drop a piece of raw meat in front of them to activate them.

You're still likely ahead of me. I still have a "dungeon" left to do and then whatever is after that.

Well in a way you're getting off easy at least. The amiibo outfits are a huge pain to upgrade requiring a

Except for Zelda 2, none of those even qualify as "NG+." Wind Waker's is a change of outfit, the ability to understand Hylian text, and you get to keep every figurine in the Nintendo Gallery, but otherwise you're still starting from scratch. Second Quest is basically like OoT Master Quest, only with entrances shifted around. The others, you're thinking of "Hero Mode," which is a very cheap way to do a "hard mode" and should be unlocked from the start (thankfully it was in Wind Waker HD). Skyward Sword lets you keep some materials and a faster sword beam charge, but that's it.

Breath of the Wild doesn't need a Hero Mode.

The DLC Hard Mode is probably the most contentious announcement, but we know nothing about it. I like to imagine it's only DLC because it's a bit more involved than just a Hero Mode. If not, then sure, it's silly. Game's still great without it, though, which was my point entirely.

That's partially why, that and the only outfit I have access to is Twilight Princess's anyway, thanks to Smash amiibo.

You know why I love this game? It's the first 3D Zelda that isn't trying to be OoT. It feels like a natural progression for the series, and it's fresh. It's not flawless, but it's still amazing.

You got the best one at least. Assuming you know this, but you can save, then scan the amiibo and if you get something you don't want, you can load the save point and try again. I had to do this for awhile to get all of the pieces from the amiibo. Unfortunately some of the outfits don't look very good.

Yeah, I learned that pretty late and took advantage of it, fortunately I already had the trousers at that point. It's a neat-looking tunic but I feel more at home with the outfit I made for myself. This game has spoiled me in that department and I almost don't wanna go back to the green tunic.

Yep. And there's the classic Link tunic from the 30th anniversary 8-bit amiibo, and OoT tunic from the same series' OoT Link amiibo. Also they've apparently discovered Skyward Sword and Fierce Deity outfits in the game that are not yet available, hinting at future amiibo...

EDIT: Oh yeah, and the Wind Waker style tunic from either Smash Toon Link or 30th anniversary Toon Link amiibo.
