Just downloaded the newest update, and not sure if what I found is a bug or not, but the blade traps don't seem to go across the non-crossable lava in the Fire Temple. In the room with the Aquamentus (or two, killed them too fast to count lol), there are blade traps in the corners and uncrossable lava (uncrossable as in unable to touch it and get hurt; probably crossable with a ladder, though): The traps don't touch me because the lava blocks their movement. I'll try to post an image for a better understanding, since my explanations just flat out suck XD



Above Image area isn't the only place it happened; also happened in the room to the right.


Found another possibility; a monster appearing in a non-traversable area (also in the Fire Temple)



If I find anything that seems off, I'll bring it to your attention.... maybe I should make a new topic for this XD

i've noticed monster appearing in non traversable areas, quite a bit. Or they appear in areas they can not move, most common area is riht below the very 1st mini dungeon witht eh two moblins.

What version of ZC are you playing with?

I can confirm that the Ganon's Castle and shield shop bugs are now fixed. Minor thing: the block in the Ganon's Castle room now leaves a blank undercombo behind.

Riff, the shield shop bug was in north Hyrule Field. The guy that was selling the shield would appear on the overworld instead of inside the house. Going inside the house led to a blank screen, making it impossible to buy the magic shield there.

Huh I never ran into that bug. 20 ruppee shields are nice until you get the mirror shield

Didn't you say you downloaded the quest from zeldaclassic.com? That version didn't have the shield shop bug. It only came up fairly recently.

Ah I didnt think about that. I already had the mirror shield when I had the new version.

I downloaded the version that was posted recently, and in RC3 did run into the magic shield shop bug that was mentioned.

I believe I'm using the RC3 Build. Also, I finally found the shield shop, but I didn't experience the bug you guys mentioned; he was in his house where he belonged.

I just noticed the post about the fire temple bug. I would say in rc3, there may be a setting where you can make traps go over water, or not go over. I will look into that.

I believe in the future I will update this quest to support the sequel. But they will be minor changes. Such as some villagers will mention Rash and Yedit at certain occasions. Also I will remove the "play Zelda 2" message at the end of the game and replace it with "Play Souls of Wisdom 2" or something along those lines.

Just encountered a game-stopping bug. I used the hammer warps to get to the mountain area, and entered a cave. I bombed the right wall of the first room and found a heart piece. When I return to the left, the wall is there and Link is too close to the edge to use a bomb. So I did F6 continue, and I'm now stuck in a wall. I quit hoping I would respawn somewhere else, but this location is set as a continue point so I am permanently stuck for the moment.

that's close to the place where you need to drop from above to get the big key !

Same, i've never ran into that bug.

Here is where I'm currently stuck. I can't go back to the other screen (or anywhere lol) I haven't been to this screen before yet (was just poking around exploring with the hammer) so I don't know where it's from.
