With all of that said about Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It sounds like there is no real reason to fight any battles.
Probably technically true, but it's also much faster to fight battles to get coins, which you use to buy better stickers and the "things" you need to advance, than it is to farm for shiny stickers or run through a level to get "things" (at least the cheap ones).

Next will be Miracle Mask, which I finished not terribly long ago. So it'll be fairly fresh in my head, what with where everything is and whatnot. Only a few main game puzzles, then it'll be to the mini-games and challenges. The daily puzzles will be interesting though. O:
And once I'm done with Layton (for now, since not all the daily puzzles are delivered yet) I'm not sure what I'll tackle next. ._.

Finished Sticker Star: Overall a disappointing entry into the Paper Mario series. Better than SPM, but far short of the first two. As many others have been discussing, yes the battles are pretty pointless. Once you get a good stash of coins, just skip practically all of them. To me the special stickers some enemies drop are pointless beyond the museum. If you can abuse the Battle Spinner and use 3 stickers a turn, everything is pretty easy minus bosses. Thing stickers are also gamebreaking, but a bit tedious to collect and use at times due to the space they take up. That said, could we go back to TTYD style for the next game please? One with XP and an actual cast that aren't Toads..
Mostly finished New Super Mario Bros 2: Yeah, been playing this. I'd say the level design is a little above NSMBWii, but as this lacks the multiplayer and the soundtrack doesn't offer anything new (other than a few horribly remixed tunes), it's another disappointment. They sure don't make A+ games anymore, do they?
With that, I'm starting something that will probably be an A+. Metroid: Zero Mission. I started with the 3DS ones because my 3DS doesn't get much use and it'd be nice to have some more Streetpass stuff active. Now that I've gotten those two out of the way, I have Zero Mission and Fusion to do next.

Second is Prince of Persia. Progressing more in it and really liking it a lot. Especially the dynamic between the two main characters, they're very enjoyable. Glad I picked this game up and glad I decided to start with it over the other games in the series, although that opinion may change if they turn out to be tons better.
