I see what Shane's talking about: the icicles don't match up for some reason.

I'm not familiar with the tileset, so I don't know if it's a simple flip issue or using the wrong tile(s).

Looking really good for "standard pure". I actually get some feeling out of this, it isn't as generic as lots of Pure stuff tends to be. I epecially like the skull theme you've got going here and plead you to make this an unique theme for this dungeon and don't commit the crime every second Pure user does which is using the same dungeon details in every darn dungeon they make. If you keep it a little simple and yet a little unique you can have a great diversity using the Pure tiles. If you put everything into every area you'll generate the next chaotic Pure mess. But yeah, Yoshidude, try to add some ice floating in the water. They should be in the overworld section recolouring it may be required.

Wowwww... this brings back so much old inspiration... icon_whistle.gif My night is loaded for sure, now. I'll go start some coffee. (Wait a minute, I'm out of non-decaf coffee aren't I? Hah... but I still have peppermint black tea. Just because I don't have an Ace in my hand doesn't mean I can't win with only a Jack!)

And yes, the idea to release a playable demo with just some of the new playable game physics was because it will give people a reason to continue being interested. I go and disappear for months and if I start doing the same thing as before and give people nothing to show for it, again just like before, people will finally get fed up. I feel I owe this to everyone who's supported me. That, and it'll be great for people to practice with the new sword physics so by the time an actual game demo is out, people will actually be able to play it and feel comfortable.

So I figured I'll give you guys about half a dungeon in screen length to try your mettle with/against the new content and we'll see what people think of it!

I would have to agree with you there. That's the way it was in ALTTP and that's the best way to do it IMO. And that's coming from someone who tried both.

Which looks beeter the light the dark color for the no fly zones. "The top left and top right areas of the screen"

I told him it would look even more like the Hero of Dreams dungeon this way, but he didn't listen icon_razz.gif

I prefer the Ice theme rather then the fire-ish theme.

It does. Especially now it uses the same palette. I agree with Keiichi. I like the Ice one better.
