I feel like I'm playing this game on the PS2.

And this is a bad thing? icon_razz.gif

I got back to B/W 2, and finally beat the World Leader's Tournament. Now I only have to do it 9 more times to unlock the Champion Tournament. Yeah... after doing it the right way once, I feel completely justified in setting it to easy mode to clear it the other 9 times. <_<

I haven't been playing much. But I've been playing L.A. Noire on the xbox360. And so far so good.
And also on a side venture, I've been also trying out Slender, and psycho waluigi. Both pretty good.

Well Slender is kinda boring, unless you are being chased by the slender man <.<

Completed Halo 4 today. To me, it's one of those rare games that isn't killed by hype, and met every expectation set by word-of-mouth reports. It's a fantastic game, and I'm honestly considering whether or not it may be my new favorite in the series. Sure, it had its hitches, but all Halo games do. This one just overcame its hitches far more than others in the series. It's a beautiful game, for starters. Its weapon updates are welcome as well, and I love how the assault rifle feels in this one. Not all weapons are perfect, though; the storm rifle is a piss poor replacement for the plasma rifles. But the enemies are smart and challenging, and the new enemies add an excellent layer to the combat; a refreshing turn from endless Flood waves. It was familiar, yet fresh, and had some nice variation and a rather stunning climactic stage. I'm putting this high up on my list, wherever it goes, leapfrogging nearly every title in the series if not all of them. I think I still have a soft spot for the original game, but Halo 4 may have firmly gripped second place in my list of "Best Halo Games."

I'm in the same boat here. I just wish that the Storm Rifle wasn't so bad. The Plasma Rifle was an epic weapon and 343 just had to kill it by replacing it with the stupid Storm Rifle. I do have gripes about other weapons, like how the Needler ended up becoming OP with its improved supecombine explosions.

Those... I've fallen victim to those a few times. Damn things. I rarely use Needlers though unless I have to, and then I spend that time just blazing the entire magazine at the nearest Elite/Brute until I kill it, then take their weapon as a replacement. Didn't even touch one in this game. Maybe once, but only once.

I just got Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
I've never actually played a "MetroidVania" game before, I always preferred Castlevania as a heinously difficult linear side-scroller.
This game is pretty good though.

So apart from fixing bugs for my quest, I've been playing Paper Mario: Sticker Star. My sisters somehow found it for a decent price along with New Super Mario Bros 2, Amazing Spider-Man (3DS, it's partially for me and one of my sisters) and Metroid Fusion + Metroid Zero Mission for Christmas. So I have a bit to play for awhile.

I've been primarily playing Sticker Star. I will say this gives a total LOZ vibe as the game is pretty lonely and harsh in my opinion as it doesn't direct you too well. Then there's the issue of getting to a boss, having to leave the level to get some strong "THING" stickers (which for most of the bosses is a shot in the dark if it's the one you need) and having to redo the level again minus shortcuts you've opened. I'm fine with some backtracking, but I feel like I have no clue what to do half the time..

Another annoying thing is when you encounter a square that looks generic that you can tell requires a Thing sticker that you have to leave the level to go get, but like with the bosses it's extremely difficult to guess which one you need. Alot of the Thing stickers are quite similar too. (For an example, there are three different Vacuums that I've personally seen)

One thing this game seriously needs is XP. You never level up, you just acquire better stickers and more HP through "HP Up Hearts". I maxed out coins early on around World 4 too which disappointed me as battles were completely POINTLESS now and time wasting.

Mass Effect (The first one). So far I am not terribly far in to the game but everything feels very slick and oozing in style. All pieces of gear have detailed descriptions and lore, there is tons of lore about each place you visit and tons of lore about everything in the game and its just... the way the lore is handled is very good and there's just so much of it it's kinda incredible.

The FPS components of the game may not be spectacular but they aren't horrid either.

The story so far seems alright.

Graphics are pretty top notch. Wasn't expecting such high quality graphics from an old game. Sure it's not uber high quality but it all fits a particular style and works well.

The HUD and interface components of the game are okay, there could be some minor improvements made here and there but nothing seriously wrong.

The RPG and level up systems are done fairly well as well. I like the selection of abilities and improvements you get to choose from when leveling up. You even get to control the level up for your squad mates. Not only that but you can fully automate the levelup process if you want.

And lastly, you can configure your allies to automatically use there abilities, some of there abilities or none of there abilities.

Bioware definitely invested a crap ton of money in to making this game.

So normally, hexagons inflict physical pain on people. But no. This time I punched that bitch in the face. I have conquered Hexagonest! Huzzah!

... now the hyper mode remains. And it is pure evil insanity. D:

Very far into Persona 4 Golden. Man, I'm so overleveled that I beat the Reaper in the third to last dungeon.

100% cleared Unwound Future. I didn't have much left to do in that one. XD

Now I'm clearing Last Spectre. Wow. I don't know why, but I didn't bother with a lot of the puzzles. ._. I had about 40 in the main game still, not including all the minigame stuff. ._. I didn't even bother with the weekly puzzles. D: So there's quite a bit here for me to do before I get back to Miracle Mask. XD

Oh okay, let me know if any of those have hexagons in them.

... Anyway, been playing more Arkham City when I can. Really loving the open world and complete freedom in which side missions you can tackle rather than play the main quest if you so choose. It's fun, enjoyable, and challenging. I think it's pretty much an improvement over Arkham Asylum, but I really really miss that feeling of suspense and terror Arkham Asylum instilled in you. Still though, great game.

Just bought mahself a PS3, so I'm playing Borderlands and the Uncharted series, to see how I like them and whether or not I'll buy the sequels.
