What happened was I made a joke about my friends profile picture, saying that My Little Pony was more manly than his hair (I usually tell him once a day that he looks like a girl ) and a bunch of people suddenly commented telling me how gay and retarded My Little Pony is.

Anyway, there was a bomb threat at my school today, and I met a brony while we were being evacuated, so there's that....

I went to go look at the Badly made toys of this show When a bunch of Other teens showed up and called me a fag
Then they started Chanting Fag fag fag fag Over and over They followed me All around the store Till i finally left in fear
I don't know why If you like this show People Act like Stupid around Us some reason

And holy crap a bomb Threat! , did they find a bomb?

And it was nothing, they let up back into the school a little over an hour later. All the news reports say we got released at 12:30, I wish this imaginary half day was true though

Don't listen to the f***heads. The difference between you and them is that you actually know what you're talking about. They hate the show because they assume s*** and can't be bothered to look deeper into the situation, and you love the show because you had the guts to give it a chance. That says so much about them. For example, that people of that caliber of ignorance might not be the kind of group you'd want to associate yourself with.

I've been watching MLP for awhile now. Up to episode 5 and I must say I personally like it. I tend to watch more.

Okay, it's time for me to be honest. There's one thing that annoys me as much as the shallow haters: the fans who b**** and moan about how much hate the show gets, and decide to plaster it over everything. Honestly, it doesn't help the cause when all the fans appear as obsessive lunatics who feel the need to shout "HEY GUYZ I LIKE MY LITTLE PONY PLEASE WATCH THE SHOW TOO IT'S REALLY MANLY" every single second. Now don't get me wrong, the show itself is a great piece of work. I haven't enjoyed a children's cartoon as much as this in years. But the fanbase is really starting to irk me. I feel like it's gone out of control. I apologize if I offended anyone and their favorite hobby, but, hey, the show taught me to be honest.

Oh well. Awaiting season 2. Even if I'll probably wait until all the episodes are uploaded to Youtube before watching it.

Yeah i agree here too We should not let our fandom get out of hand But Shoot its so hard too. Well one thing I got emotional Attachments too all the ponys on this show So my fandom is very BIG

Dude, that's a little over the top. You have to remember it's still a show. I can safely say I admire Link, and he is my hero. But, I can't say something like I like-like him, emotionally or sexually.
If you think about it, it just doesn't make sense.

I think this has been a productive page. We have successfully established that the MLP fans are partially at fault by backtracking and calling it manly and trying to self-justify, when really the best approach is to duly note your position as a fan the first time, and then to not make any particular point to bring it up again. And if someone else brings it up you say something to the effect of "yeah, so?" or "problem, sir?" as though it's not weird at all. People will leave you alone, trust me it works.

@ Jared, I will not hesitate to say that Link is too awesome to be compared to conventional characters.
