Anyone completely conquer a Frontier area, earning it's Gold Seal yet? Every time I get close in the Hall and Arcade, I lose within rounds of the Gold Seal challenge icon_shrug.gif.

I lost on the last battle of the Battle Tower last time I tried; I had the battle planned out move-by-move, executed perfectly, but forgot about the Focus Sash on Palmer's Heatran. Very frustrating, haven't tried to tackle it since. I don't really care for any of the other challenges, as I think the Tower is the most efficient way to farm BP.

Haven't tried it in HG, but in Platinum, I got silver seals in the Battle Hall and Battle Arcade. The Battle Tower bores me, to be honest. Too repetitive.

Ebola, what does Palmer say when you reach him? As I understand, most of the Battle Frontier text was copied out of Platinum, but in Platinum, Palmer talks about knowing you as a child and all that, which obviously makes no sense in HG/SS.

I think it's just some crap about the bond you've built with your Pokemon, blah blah blah. The usual stuff that every gym leader in the game says.

Am I the only one having trouble catching the Articuno in seafoam islands? It just doesn't seem to want to give up and be caught...Maybe I've lost my Pokemon skills...

The catch rate's different for everybody. Just keep trying; you'll get it. Obvious suggestions, but make sure its health is low and it is suffering some kind of status condition (aside from burn or poison), and I'd suggest using Dusk Balls as well.

Well, I caught him pretty easily. But in Platinum, it took 80+ balls, so I sympathize with you. Getting it to one health and putting it to sleep really helps.

Throw a variety, and see which has a better Result. I caught a few legends with ¤Great Balls, but if they are REALLY heavy, toss a ¤Heavy Ball. You may even catch one in a plain, old ¤Pokéball!

You know... I've been trying this game all day. I'm not sick of it. Also some pokemon are hard to get. Especially the one at seafoam islands (Articuno) that is too hard for me.

Ya, legendaries are tricky to catch. Just stay persistent, and you can get them. For Articuno, since he's in a cave, I'd suggest Dusk Balls. You can buy them at the Safari Zone Gate.
