Anyone else notice that the Game Over screen text changes colour depending on what type of elemental damage killed you?

There are 900 korok seeds.
Let that sink in.
Nine.
Hundred.
Nine hundred?!?!
That's as many as nine one-hundreds!!
But yeah I knew. Apparently there's a reward for getting every single one, too. IT BETTER BE WORTH IT.

Spoiler
I found a Gamefaqs topic explaining it all, I edited the URL in to my original post.

Yeah, I thought that was a neat touch. Since you'll be looking at the game over screen a lot especially early in, it's nice to see they want to keep things fresh.Anyone else notice that the Game Over screen text changes colour depending on what type of elemental damage killed you?
I've also been playing the main story rather slowly, but it's getting hard to avoid spoilers so I kind of want to beat it already. But I agree with Tree and I want to savor every moment. It's easy to forget how huge this world really is.
And 900 korok seeds? Man.. That's a lot. Kinda wish I didn't know, but I guess I better find more. I kinda thought there would be around 200, but I haven't really gone out of my way to find them. Granted, they are pretty useful.
Edit: got the sword that seals evil.

Maybe I did have that many hearts at the time and I just miscounted. Kinda annoying that your health is displayed on a single row and not at the very least spaced out in to groups of 4 or 5.

As of my progress, I'm doing the main story slowly as I'd rather have more to look forward to and I'd like to explore each area before finishing the game. I'm wishing we had actual music tracks on the overworld, with unique ones for each area. It gets kinda boring with the silence with random music notes thrown in here and there.
So they went with the original Tomb Raider route for the music? That seems kind of odd for a Zelda game.

I noticed this too. Although most of mine have still been red. ![]()
Despite finishing the main story, I'm still finding a lot of cool details and locations. I haven't done a second run and will use this file to fully complete the game as much as I possibly can. The second playthrough I will challenge myself perhaps, or wait for this supposed "new hard mode" that's coming as DLC.

There's definitely neat music in the game, a lot of it (including tracks based on songs from previous Zelda games), are clearly redesigned for ambience rather than being an engaging tune which is a little disappointing. None of the music (that I've heard) sticks out as bad, it's just there isn't very much active/engaging music.
There's some neat renditions of LoZ and N64 tunes.

Yeah, the actual tracks aren't bad, just like the encounter themes and whatnot are pretty stale by now and that's pretty much all I get exploring the overworld. The decent music for me seems to be only during bosses and specific events and isn't replayed at all in the game beyond that.
So on another note, I've only done two of the dungeons (I guess they're being called that), but I just don't really enjoy this style of them. They're very boring with nothing interesting to look at or do in most instances, tedious and don't have music worth listening to. I'm hoping the last ones will be better, but I'm doubting it. I'm leaning towards worst in the series for dungeons honestly. This is with consideration for how bad some of Spirit Tracks' dungeons were, etc.. But we'll see once I'm done in a few weeks at this rate. Exploring is far more fun than continuing in the main storyline atm and that's really saying something coming from someone who usually looks forward to the dungeons the most in any Zelda.

Are people really that surprised? I saw how they were going to handle the music a mile away, it felt like the most logical conclusion. Landmarks get themes while the empty vast fields have music that perfectly reflects the scenery. I personally like it but to be fair the game's music did meet my expectations right from BotW was first revealed years ago...
Anyways, I finished a cool little thing on a island. I also am now working on increasing my stamina as I'm overdue for more stamina.

You know what the hardest thing to look up for this game is? Princess Zelda related stuff. Since her name is the title....you get literally everything ever about the game. All I want to do is find the context of this image that's been going around on Twitter, lol.
I just wanna know what the heck she's even doing there, lol.

I've never played another game in this style, but didn't Xenoblade have unique music for each area? I know this and Xenoblade were compared to each other for a bit for being similar.
