Before their purpose was just fun. But now you can get the hurricane spin for beating them. But that's only in the newer updates.

I thought it was pretty useless since I had already maxed out my life. Anyhow, are there any more updates coming out?

Its the best to use 2.5 beta 18 but several players played with RC3 also.

The very last updated one that I know of is in Post #1125. It doesn't have some of the latest bugs that have been found since that update.

What to do in the undead level, the one that was in Skull Woods? I just keep running into dead ends and a locked door. The lens reveal a bridge through the gap at a place accessed by going north through the bone tunnel and into the stone face, but I don't see how to trigger it...

(I'm so proud that I could beat the desert pyramid without needing help.)

If you use the lens when you step off of the path using the ladder in that room, you'll be able to see the trigger placed just within the lens's range. As I recall, it's an arrow trigger.

I finally found it... but it led to a path with a hammer requiring place at the end.
Then I went to the other gap place through the statue entrance and I found the lens is usable there, too... but it led to a chest requiring boss key...
This is a joke, where's the correct starting route?

Also, I love how big chests are door chests (chest doors) with the lock being a boss door...
