Is it me?

Yep, it's me icon_biggrin.gif

HI MOONWHISPER!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Yep, it was you I was implying. The Ice Climbers seem to be a lot better off in Brawl, now. They have a dynamic stage and an impressive-looking final smash. Now, if only Nintendo improved the tag team setup they have. The second Ice Climber (alternates depending on costume color) was mainly cannon fodder. One last thing: will the final smash be affected by whether or not the primary Ice Climber goes solo?

Some of the smashes don't seem that great. They need to even it out more.

I'm picturing the bomb will blow up like Bullet Bill in Melee. If it does, I'm expecting final smash quality damage. Now, item switch and Sudden Death... icon_naughty.gif

Training: unchanged since Melee. icon_sleep.gif

As for Smart Bomb, I guess it's not a proximity mine, but it works. icon_razz.gif

Hmm, the smart bomb looks to me like a really beefed-up Bo-bomb. That could be potentially disastrous for the playing field.

Well, that's just the thing: they never were a tag team. Pokemon Trainer is the first actual "tag team" character, so far. Popo and Nana instead work simultaneously. It may be hella weird how they function, but they do both follow the controller commands at roughly the same time.

I haven't seen a pair that functions like them since Mickey Mousecapades on the NES... but thank GOD they don't function like Mickey and Minnie. That game was horrible.

Anyway, tag team could be implemented to change the "leader," but there's no point if they have identical moves and share the same damage meter. Since Pokemon Trainer shares a damage meter for all of his Pokemon, I think it's pretty likely that the Ice Climber twins will also have just one visible damage meter between them.

I think the smart bomb is a better feature than the bobomb, bigger explosion range. icon_biggrin.gif

Update about the extra color schemes for your characters. Nice, but the lack of info about old characters returning (Captain Falcon, Marth, Sheik...) is making me nervous.

I highly doubt Sakurai will spoil too many secret characters,if any at all. I think Pit is a starting character, along with all the other characters confirmed so far.
Who knows? Geno,Ridley,Dixie, the old Melee characters and all the others we want for Brawl maybe already are in it.

On the other hand,Bob-ombs start walkin on their own if left untouched. icon_unsettled.gif Makes for surprise attacks.

I keep hearing that Nintendo has confirmed at least three additional 3rd party characters to introduce. Whether that means that Sonic and Snake have already been counted is beyond me.

Additionally, Air Dodging is still in, (Thank mod...) though it's been heavily modified since Melee. It's now momentum-based, so that you'll still be moving in the same direction that you were in when you had dodged, though you'll be free to move wherever and however you want afterwards, as well as do another air dodge.

indeed, Wavedashing is quite out, save for Peach, whose air dodging enables her to wavedash. Ironic, since her wavedash in Melee was horrible, relatively speaking. Now she's the only one who even can wavedash. A shame. I'll miss it quite a bit.

There is also an item which seems to shrink everyone but you, much like in Mario Kart. It may have just been a little illusion on my part though.

Nice that everyone has six costumes now though, rather than the erratic four to six.

Not many real "big" things this week.... I'm assuming they are going to say something big (new character perhaps) on Friday.

The colors are nifty though, as you can finally play the same character as someone else while still feeling slightly different. (Link vs. Dark Link, **** yeah.)
