Maybe it's a difference between NTSC and PAL versions. :tard:

So is there a compilation of all Link's death animations yet? Lol. These come up really fast when it comes to Tomb Raider, but I'm curious on the ways you can die in this game. How easy/hard is it compared to previous Zelda games? These should be easy to answer questions that won't spoil anything~ Zelda 2 probably still the hardest with that shit sword range, lol.

It is the most difficult 3D Zelda game by far, because it actually expects you to take combat seriously, enemies don't hit for measly morsels of damage, and even the standard enemies have multiple varieties that hit harder, especially if they have better weapons. You'll have to find better weapons of your own, and especially better defense while stocking up on food, and you can't blindly rush into things anymore.
Zelda 2's still harder.

Well I beat the main game. I need to absorb and digest it, as well as go for 100% and replay a past game or two for a direct comparison, but this game's good. Fantastic. One of the best in the series. Not perfect, but well worth the wait.

I got one shotted with just about any hit not from a standard Bokoblin early on. Was not fun in the slightest to redo each fight because I got hit ONCE.
Later on, minus early enemies revisited, even with upgraded armor, stuff is still doing like 4-8 hearts of damage if you get hit even once, with occasional one shots still around. On the plus-side, the food system is gamebreaking, so if you survive a hit it isn't hard to regain health.
As of my progress, I'm doing the main story slowly as I'd rather have more to look forward to and I'd like to explore each area before finishing the game. I'm wishing we had actual music tracks on the overworld, with unique ones for each area. It gets kinda boring with the silence with random music notes thrown in here and there. I also would like to hear some of the older tracks remixed and brought back like Gerudo Valley (OoT), Faron Woods (TP), etc.

So this game is huge, but people are beating it in a week...

I've had it for a week and have only uncovered about half the map, but haven't fully traversed it yet. Mostly been hunting for shrines. I have no idea how anyone could beat the game in a week. I don't know why anyone would want to beat it in a week. I'm trying to make it last as long as possible, even if I don't really need to. The world is massive.

Oh there's still plenty left to do. If I'm estimating right, I have about 40 shrines left to find. There's sidequests, and plenty of them. Korok seeds, and lots of them. I was just really eager to see the story's conclusion, and also because I'm super curious to watch the speedrun (which currently clocks in at 54 minutes, five seconds). And now I don't have to worry about spoilers. ![]()
But that's the open-ended nature of the game. Do what you want, when you want. I just wanted to see how it ended... and now I want all the goods. >.> <.<

There are 900 korok seeds.
Let that sink in.
Nine.
Hundred.
