*The Satellite yawns and watches another update pass by that pertains to wi-fi capabilities and therefore doesn't affect him.*

Think about this update. You can bet coins on who would win. The results can be great.

Aren't you supposed to earn those coins from your own matches? icon_razz.gif Otherwise, this is next to useless, as many people I've spoken with have concurred. We already know how to play. We can't watch our own matches. All it can do is reaffirm our own understanding of the skill levels of others. I'm sure we'd all rather play a match and hone our skills than watch the very match we could have been playing in, for all its randomness.

As Tseng said in chat: (paraphrased) "If you're not even playing, why would you own the game?"

Oh. I interpreted it as a "Hey, I don't have the game, so I'm going to watch a match and see if I'll buy it" feature. The way the site described it made it sound like something you could watch without the game. icon_shrug.gif

Really, none of you like this feature? I think it's very interesting. It lets you see a wide variety of styles of play. It lets you just sit back and observe for a while. I think that's a pretty good idea.

I agree with Fox. This is a great feature.

Just because you play a game doesn't mean you own it. My sister likes a lot of the games I play that she isn't very good at, particularly -- you got it -- fighting games.

This also allows you access to other players without having to be involved in the match! Have you ever watched the final round of a tournament with tons of good players? It can be very exciting and enlightening. icon_biggrin.gif And now you can benefit from that without necessarily having to find a tournament to attend.

As for offering the feature to people without the game, I'm not sure whether that feature is going to be available, but I see absolutely nothing wrong with offering a feature from a game to people who don't have the game. I mean, how can you complain if it's free? Only use it if you like it; it's as simple as that.

I agree with Radien, lol.

I am definitely looking forward to this game more and more with each update. It comes out a day before my birthday so I might get lucky, but then again, it would be practically flying off the shelves so I don't know if my parents would be able to get a copy. icon_shrug.gif

I want to see this Final Smash in action. I want to know the damage it truly does. I bet I know someone who will be happy to see this final smash. icon_smile.gif

So that's what happened to Icicle Mountain: it went from a stage to a final smash?

I can see some uses for this.
