I'm currently exploring some of the more remote areas of the game, and I'm reminded of how beautiful this game is. I've currently beaten two of the main dungeons, and part of me wants to rush to Hyrule Castle right now, while another part of me wants to take my time.

If you want to explore places that you are ill equipped for fighting in, than you're best bet is to approach the area vertically, climb as high as you can to avoid enemies. The problem? Mountain tops are so far the most boring, uninteresting, poor looking (visually) and poorly designed parts of the game world.

 

Also, if you're beginning the game try to stick to the path to

Kakariko Village and talk to any and all NPC's you meet enroute to Kakariko.

I missed a useful NPC by not doing this.

Well. Being a mature person, who doesn't want to spoil things for themselves, I made the only logical decision anyone in my position would: watch an Any% speed run! : D I'm addicted to any% speed runs ._. But it actually didn't spoil much at all, except some of the ending where I was like "woah, I actually didn't expect that!" But it made me more interested in the game and I really hope I can play it some day ._. It's hard being broke and only spending money on melee tournaments ._.

I'll buy a Switch when they iron out that whole "Left JoyCon desyncing thing".

I got the switch for free. All I did was get a piece of toast, and put a Wii controller on the left side of the toast, and put another Wii controller on the right side. Am I cool yet? B)

I haven't encountered the issue at all even while trying to intentionally. Perhaps it only effected a small number or the first batch that went out on launch day.

On topic has anyone else tried Amiibos? They are pretty rewarding and I may buy the BotW set now as they are even more so.

Sadly, that's not a possibility. I'm probably getting a few amiibo just so I can get one of link's tunics and/or epona.

It's not really cheating as some stuff you can only get with Amiibos. Riding around on the best horse with a giant wolf hunting for you and helping fight is a great concept.

I've heard people say they're possible to get very late into the game but can't find confirmation of it. I'd like to know too as I'm only missing the 8-Bit Link amiibo and not sure if I want to get it if the outfit can be obtained for free.

So I figured out the max number of hearts. I wonder if it's possible to really get that many though.

So far I've beat two dungeons, and have all but one Tower, and have completed around 45 shrines. I think I'm making steady progress, but I'm far from finished. This game is really fun. I have a few very minor complaints, but I still think this is the new standard.
