So I'm searching through Mt. Silver, trying to find Moltres. I just realized, the Sinnoh gym leader music (part of it, anyways) is a remix of Mt. Silver's music! Creepy...

I realized it a couple weeks ago. It kind of explains why that theme was one of the few tracks in D/P/Pl that everyone agrees is good.

In other news, I just found out something. You know how you can get an item that lets you hear 8 Bit music from the original games? It also works with music that wasn't originally in the 1st & 2nd Gen games. I'm listening to a remix of the Battle Frontier theme right now.

I know, I discovered that with Route 47-48 and the Safari Zone Gate, both of which sound great! I'm gonna have to go to the Battle Frontier and listen to that remix now.

If only they had 8-bit versions of Ho-oh's theme and Lugia's theme. That would be insanely amazing...

Actually, I just listened to that yesterday. But it's not the same as it actually being in the game.

I have to say, I like the 8-bit music a lot too. I don't even have the nostalgia on my side, I just like it.

Anyways, I got tired of not being able to get Kyogre and the other starters, so I just said "Screw it, I'll fight Red for real later, but I just want to beat him and be done with it for now." So I took Arceus, the level 100 event Arceus, up to Mt. Silver to fight Red. Red killed Arceus. Red is stronger than freakin God. Does anybody besides me see something very wrong with this?

Anyways, I did beat him eventually (and leveled up a couple of my guys with EXP shares), so now I'm off to get Kyogre. They better not have ruined R/S/E's legendary theme...

It's not that he is THAT strong. His Pokemon are just over-leveled this time.

Beat Red, then talk to Steven Stone. He'll give you one.

Anyways, I got Kyogre. I'm impressed, they did a pretty good job updating R/S/E's legendary theme. The bells at the beginning sounded a little off, but the rest was good, especially when the tempo picked up. So, who has a Groudon and needs a Kyogre to get Rayquazza? I'm willing to let somebody borrow him in return for borrowing Groudon.
